Let me start by saying that this was never featured in FMA. This was just a variation of Scar's 6 point array.

So there I was, in church, and angry. Im not christian (I bet half my watcher just went bye-bye) and I was trying to find something to do other than listen to our paster preach. Lucky me, I had my black book of alchemy- pocket edition. In the front I had Scar's 6 point array and thought, because I was in church, about a 5 point array (or pentagram >:]) Well I drew a little pentagram, then went to work. It took a while to align everything and get it to work like Scar's array, but I finished it.
I then got home, then made it in Serif Draw Plus 2. To those of you who remember, I drew my last Scar's 7 point Array in paint.exe. Well this only took about thirty minutes as opposed to long weeks.

The array itself would be used to make the philosophers stone... I think. It makes sense... Which Im going by the logic of the FMA manga serries, not the old serries. In the old serries, the seven point array would do that.
