I feel this is quite dull since it's not in color. Maybe I'll ink it someday...

Roger actually just started out as a sketch I made for my sophomore year art class. I have it on my old account somewhere; the final product is even better, actually. I was going to make this meme fanart, but I wanted to experiment with making my own characters. I've always had them in mind, but never produced them on paper all that much. I felt this meme gave me that opportunity somewhat.

Also, for the surreal...I have no idea what I was thinking. O_o The stripes, the cane, the pale skin = milk...I don't know. I guess that was the point of that box.

The other style I used in the bottom right corner was maint to be a mock-up of John Byrne's style from old comics he used to draw when he was active. I don't think I was successful in copying it though.
