I had to leave Chicago when the money ran out. I got laid off from my job, well more like fired. But I wasn't able to find a job after two months and I had to start paying off my student loans. So I had to move back home with my parents. Sadly I don't make enough to live on my own and pay my loans so I'm stuck here in Kansas for a while longer. We have a Mongolian Barbeque now It's so yummy!

I like her paired with Renji but my opinion is probably clouded by wanting to pair Kozakura with Kira Still I like Renji and Hikari, they just sound cute, plus I like the illustration you did of them X3 The first link I included below is to some historical Japanese name essays. Yes Mongolian BBQ is yummeh. We had one of their desserts too. Cheesecake Ragoons. SO GOOOOOD! I had a three day weekend this week and we did a lot of eating so I'm sure I gained like 5 pounds but it was such good food all weekend

Kozakura is awesome. She's the first character I've made with a large chest. It was kind of hilarious. Her hair is such a pain to draw though Rei is cute and really easy to draw. Her personality is so cute and sweet I almost can't stand to write her.

What have you been doing that's making you so busy?

Slow relationships I think are easier to write without them sounding too Mary Sue. I have issues when I'm trying to write whirlwind romances with them sounding too much like "my ideal romance"

You can see better in this pic that I'm actually wearing hakama. My "persona" in the SCA is Japanese. I chose Japanese in part because I wanted to wear pants and not be stuck in eighty million layers of petty coats and undergarments. I don't have any pictures up of me in full garb, which is tha hakama, kusode, haori, geta and boshi. I have a fan to go with my outfit too though I've never needed it yet. In this picture I have my sleeves tied back so that they don't get caught as I shoot and because it was raining like crazy that day, thus the hat is still on my head even as I shoot. I'm wearing my boots for that same reason. By the end of the day, as we were cleaning up I was literally wading through mud puddles up to mid calf. It was not pleasant but I doubled my score in the tournament from what it was last year

Koza is nothing like Rangiku. Koza is stoic and serious except when she's irritated then she has a very hot temper. Her hair is epic lol! And yeah it is worth it but it's till such a pain to draw lol!
Yeah I did a poll to see if I should really pair her with Hisagi or just keep it a crush and everyone wants them to hook up so *sigh* I have to make it work somehow.

Yeah slow relationships have risks but then again so do very fast paced relationships. There's always the chance that you got caught up in the moment and you find out a few weeks later that you don't actually like this person because you have absolutely nothing in common with them. Or that you spend all you energy on loving them right then and there and then burn out. Ren and Byakuya have all the time in the world to get friendly with each other. Rei and Hisagi.... well we'll see what happens but whatever it is it'll be very slow I'm sure.

It is very fun. For me it's and excuse to research more, I chose Japanese because at the time I knew next to nothing about their culture but was interested thanks to a shibori dying class I had taken in college. The hat has many names but Sedge hat, Coolie hat and Conical hat are the three most common though it is sometimes referred to as the Kasa(gasa)boshi. It is a common workers hat and it's quite good at keeping the rain off the head though it got my shoulders quite wet. Oh I also have a kiseru (japanese pipe) to go with my outfit. I need to repair it and clean up the bras a bit but it still looks epic.

I kind of like sweet things. I don't care for sugar though it has a funny after taste. I don't like salty things either. I prefer spicy foods I'm losing weight little by little which is a good thing. I've gained so much since I graduated from college. I'm trying to get my weight down a little closer to what I was then.

LOL. I was thinking of having Rei save Hisagi's life by turning into a vizard. But Rei is very self-conscious of her vizard side and kind of hates it because she just wants to be normal. So i was kind of having her freak out a bit after Hisagi sees her vizard form. Then at some point after hearing about Rei being very upset about him seeing her as a vizard I was going to have Hisagi maybe make an effort to cheer her up by talking to her. He probably won't say much but I don't think he'll need to. After this I imagine they become friends and from there who knows what'll happen.

Yeah we studied anything we wanted at SAIC. I took a lot of fiber art classes along with design classes. The school required us to get a minor in art history so I studied the history of architecture and fashion but I also have a minor in literature I even took a ceramics class. U of Cairo sounds much more structured which may be a good thing because they may teach you some practical stuff about how to market yourself and how to apply for positions in fashion houses. Paris is no longer the hot spot for fashion. Milan isn't either, it was Belgium but now it looks like the hot spot is moving East to Beijing and Hong Kong. Sadly not even Tokyo can keep up but I don't care I'd gladly go to work for any Japanese fashion house

Yeah I know I'm strange. One of my friends loves to bake cookies and cakes and all kinds of sweets. He thinks I'm crazy but occasionally he'll be merciful and make something with an alternative sweetener in it I do love me some spicy. I like chocolate cake with a little red chili powder added in.

Yeah I've been working hard to lose the weight but it's worth it. I feel so much better. But I've also gained a lot in muscle so who knows how much of what I lost was fat lol

Yeah I hope things work out between them too. I think they'd eventually make a cute couple.

Well you can talk to your parents about coming to the US for school but its expensive. SAIC cost me $33,000 a year. I went there for three years so I have some hefty loans to pay off. I dislike france. I don't like the French language it has too many rules that it ignores lol.

I'll see if I can't get someone to volunteer to photograph me in my garb. I want to get some pictures of it up on the fashion history lovers group.

Okay well let me know if you want to read the fic in order or not. Because I'm dying to send you the scene with Byakuya and Ren's first kiss.

Yeah Geoff is the best. And yes it's been a constant struggle to keep the pounds off since I've met Geoff. lol. I'd propose to him if we weren't so wrong for each other lol.

I have muscle everywhere now. Between belly dancing and archery and walking everywhere I'm in pretty good shape. Though in the last few weeks I've kind of let myself go since I don't have belly dancing or archery to keep me active.

OH NOES!!! That is a lot of money $$$$ I'll be paying my student loans off for another couple of decades probably and I only went there for 3 years so yeah Cairo sounds much better.

I could send you their first kiss if you hadn't already said you want to read it all in order
