I've been wanting to do this a long time ago...and I really mean LONG! my OC in Bleach :3more like myself in bleach xD

still wanna name her...I want a name that means light or sun like my own name...but I suck at Japanese so >_> still gotta look it up
but that's how she'll basically look like whatsoever

So, you want a japanese name for her? I could help you with that! Something with light or sun hah? Uhm.. well, you could name her 'TaiyΓ΅' then, what means litterally 'sun'. Or you could make a combination with the kanji for the english word 'sun' and 'light'. That way you can make her name with the kanji's for: ζ₯ =sun (hi) and ε
=light (hikari). So, a list of possibles names for your character:

No, Bleach didn't end, Kubo said in an interview that now he will go further with a part without Ichigo Β¬_Β¬ *sigh*, it's about Kurotsochi *DOUBLE SIGH* and some corpses in Hueco Mundo, very much likely the corpses of those two hollow-friends of Nelliel, you know who, the little green-haired kid. Because somewhere in the manga, don't know the chapter exactly, you see two sillouettes in Hueco Mundo's mortuary... And that's also all I know... for now! So I think some more Renjiness will definitely come.

That is a very unfinished picture of my first Bleach OC. I started her story as incentive for my illustration student to actually do her homework. Whenever she completed five lessons she'd get a chapter. Someday I'll finish this picture....
I still can't post her story. It's undergoing major reconstructive surgery atm.

She is a vizard. The first actually. Her original concept was formed when I re-watched the episodes where Ichigo gets turned into a shinigami in Urahara's basement. I picked up on the idea that Kisuke had done that kind of transition before. How else would he know how it was done and how long it would take and what not? So I thought there has to be a first for something like that so why not write a story from that person's perspective. I've only successfully written from a man's point of view once so I decided early on that this first vizard should be a female. And what if this first vizard is the, for lack of better word, muse which inspired Aizen to bridge the gap between hollow and shinigami. So her story evolved very quickly but is still evolving as more information comes out in the manga about the vizard and such so that's why her story is kind of mess right now.
I don't mind you adding me to your watch. I'm flattered

Well I'm not sure that it takes all that much creativity and obviously you're creative otherwise you wouldn't be on DA ;D But thanks, I'm trying very hard to keep Ren's story from becoming Mary Suesque. It's taken a lot of hard work and research. Lots and Lots of research to make sure everything lines up.
I don't know that my work is all that great. In fact I think compared to some of the stuff I was doing right out of college it is substandard. *sigh* I just don't have the time to put into my work that I used to have so I rush things and they turn out less great... If you poke around my gallery have a look at my Naruto OC as well. I think her portrait is one of the best things I've done recently. I drew her while my second job was teaching illustration classes.

Yeah I'm pretty busy so there are days I don't pay attention to my DA account or respond to all my comments. *sigh* I still read them I just don't get around to answering. Tonight I'm going to post some of the pretties I've been making so you'll get to see what it is I do.
I need to work on Ren's story a lot more before I'm comfortable with posting her story. Right now I'm trying to get Rei's story sorted out. She frustrates me.
You should go for it. It may be lame, who knows but who cares anyway what's important is you learn from it. It probably won't be lame though, it'll probably be EPIC!!!!!!!!!!

You should feel good about yourself and your art. You capture motion better than people I've seen who have been illustrating for years. While your illustrations are more sketchy and less polished than my annal-retentive illustrations it gives them an edginess that I envy. It reminds me actually a little of Samurai Champloo. If you haven't seen it watch it, it's on hulu now.
I actually work full time as an administrative assistant but have started my own small business through Etsy and through word of mouth. In the last year I've had 6 hats I believe and one veil. I also make a ton of jewelry and other fun accessories, I'd like to start making handbags as well but we'll see where that goes. I hope you can go to arts and design school as well. What university are you looking into? I went to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for three of my 5 years of college the first two I spent taking credits from local schools here in Kansas. But I am a proud alumna of SAIC! And why would you go to med school if you don't want to? Wouldn't you just try for a different school?
LOL. Well thanks for the vote of confidence in my abilities. I'll possibly post some more of her fic in journals, I posted a good portion of the first chapter in some of my earlier journals, I'm sure you can go back and read through them.
Don't worry about disappointing me. My opinion is trivial in the long run, what matters is that you don't disappoint yourself and if you do learn from it. Too often you here artists griping about their inability to get their ideas across and blah blah blah. At times I rather feel like telling them to shut up, stop whining and learn from their mistakes so their next piece can be that much better! Yeah I know I have a hot temper.

Is it difficult to get in to U of Cairo? I was told that getting into the School of the Art Institute of Chicago would be difficult but I was pre-accepted though I might be a very odd exception to the rule. Hm. Well do you like the idea of being a doctor? I know I couldn't do it. I'm too squeamish.

I don't particularly care for mecha either. But I was bored one night and watched it and fell in love with it. It's more of a coming of age story and I thought the characters felt very real. The animation sometimes sucks but most of the time it rocks because of the colors. I just love everything about it. Never watched or read Kuroshitsuji though I've been told I should read it before watching it because the manga is different from the anime.
YAY! Go for it. You need confidence and a cut throat attitude and the ability to take a lot of criticism in order to make it in the fashion world. I don't think I could work for a fashion house ever because I'm not cut throat enough but I'm happy owning my own business as long as it all works out and I get to make a ton of hats in the end.
Egypt seems really awesome. Luxor is lovely but I'd really want to dive in the ruins of Alexandria. If I could retire and be an adventurer I'd be happy. We have some mummies on display in a small museum in Chicago. A husband and his wife and from another tomb a cat. Very cool.
Oh I forgot to give you a hint about who Ren is married to didn't I? Um.... lemme see.... He's very quiet and a ranking officer in the Gotei 13. If you just want to give up I'll tell you XD Interesting is the polite way of describing Ren. LOL

I miss Chicago. I could literally walk to anyplace i needed to go. It was so nice. I lived in a highrise for 3 of the years I was there so I always had a beautiful view of the lake and the lights of the city. I also miss the variety in the food. Here in Kansas we have tex mex, mexican, american chinese, Japanese and just plain old American.
