I have always loved this design, The Nova Class starship! If you have noticed, it's part of my deviantart ID name, Nova.

Out of all other Starfleet ships, the Nova Class is the best ship to carry the true theme or precedent set by the Uprated Constitution Class U.S.S. Enterprise. Why in the hell other designs get such weak pylons, curved and such, is beyond me. The best modern example for any Star Trek ship modeler is the Sovereign Class. Solid, straight, structurally sound nacelle supports are the ONLY way to go.

Heh, my Odyssey-class ship (Odyssey-class is also the Enterprise F) on Star Trek Online is named Resolution as well. Small world, huh? Loving the render you've got here, though. Good attention to detail and lighting. Nicely done!

Beautiful render. Not a huge fan of TNG era ships for the Federation but the Nova is up there as one of the few I like as is the Intrepid.

Oh yes! the Nova class!. There are only few ships that tried to compete with the Nebula class as my "favourite Star Trek ship ever", the Nova class is one of them

Thanks! I have always love it, I think the size might have something to do with it. We were always seeing bigger ships such as, Galaxy class, Intrepid class and more. This ship packed quite a punch.

Well, maybe because it is part of the newer breed of starship been develpped by Starfleet, together with the sovereign and Intrepid. All of them beautiful designs.
I also like the Nova class because of it's size and because it can surely defend itself, something the Oberth class was not able to do properly.
