Bruce was born on February 19th, 1977 as the only surviving sibling of a twin-pregnancy after his parents suffered a car crash.

After the death of both his parents, Bruce and Alfred lived for a short time with his mother's brother and his daughters, Jacob Kane and sisters Kate and Beth in Scotland.

Though Bruce comes from a Jewish background from his mother's side, Bruce has stated to be Atheist.

Legally, Bruce is the adoptive father of both Richard Grayson and Cassandra Cain (the latter having actually changed her last name to be Wayne)

One of Bruce's first cold cases was finding the whereabouts of the fugitive Joe Chill. Despite not having found him, he did find something that belonged to him, his gun.

As a omen to his war against crime, Bruce utilized 3 elements that would represent him: A bat, symbol of his fear that he'd induce into criminals, the gun, now melted and turned into a metal plate to protect his chest from any wounds and last, an old relic that belonged to his ancestor Sir Gaweyne de Weyne, Le gants de vengeance violets, a pair of purple leather gloves that would represent his legacy as a Wayne.

Bruce developed his “Golden Batsuit” after rejecting the notion that “Bruce Wayne had died in the alley”.

Prior to that, Bruce and Dick went on their last case together after the murder of Vesper Fairchild, Bruce himself having become the main suspect behind her death.
