Full name: James "Logan" Howlett

Age: Physically in his late-30s --- 98 (1984) - 123 (2009) - 125 (2011).
Affiliation(s): The Howling Commandos (captain - formerly) - Weapon Plus Program (formerly - as part of Team X) - Department H (formerly) - X-Men.

Abilities & Skills:

Superhuman senses, agility, stamina, and reflexes.
Adamantium-laced skeletal structure and retractable claws.
Regenerative healing factor.
Longevity.
Experienced fighter and tactician.
Experienced in special forces and espionage.

Origins:
  Born in 1886 as the illegimate son between Elizabeth Howlett and the Howletts' grounds-keeper, Thomas Logan, James lived most of his childhood as a frail weak boy, on the bed for grand part of the day coughing and sneezing. As a pre-adolescent in the middle of a night, James' mutant abilitties got awakened after a confusing incident concerning his actual father and whom he believed was his father, ending on the death of the both of them after James went on a blind rage (a state which would later be known by Logan as "berserker rage") and stabbed them with his claws. Coming to his senses, James would escape to the woods, leaving the Howlett state and his family behind.
  For the next 20 years, James (now under the alias of Logan) would live as a nomad, emerging from time to time to serve his country in the military so that, by the 1940's during World War II, Logan would become a part of a special ops unit of the Allies known as The Howling Commandos, briefly using his real name as Cpt. Howlett.

After the end of the war, Logan would return to Canada briefly before, in 1966, being offered a spot as part of a black ops team known as Team X as an operative alongside Victor Creed, David North, John Wraith, Christopher Nord and Kayla Silverfox, operating as a group of mutant mercenaries working under the U.S Goverment's payroll. Working as a part of Team X, Logan would be eventually chosen by their employers to be a part of the Weapon Plus Program (under the premise of being an attempt to recreate the Super Soldier Serum). However this would soon turn to hell, as Logan would be continuosly be experimented on and having his healing factor being put to it's limit, the experiment being in actuality an attempt to create a living weapon to be used on combat.

During this time, Logan's skeleton would be infused and bonded into the metal-alloy known as Adamantium, in the progress being subjected to a heavy hypnosis treatment, turning into the feral Weapon X. Under mental control for a brief period, Logan would eventually prove too difficult for the Weapon X program to control, breaking free of the programming and unleashing himself on a berserker-fury, killing almost everyone in the facility he was kept in and escaping into the wilderness.
  Due to the intense nature of the hypnosis, only a few of Logan's memories would remain (with those whom concerned his experiences at Weapon X, WW2 and even his early life having been blocked from his mind), eventually, Logan would return to a sembleance of a normal life for the next 20 years, only using his new adamantium claws from time to time. One of these occassions would actually be his encounter against the Hulk during his brief tennure as a Department H operative.

However, Logan's life would eventually find a purpose as he was recruited in 2009 by Prof. Charles Xavier after he had witnessed of his fight against the Green Goliath. Having been offered a chance to possibly recover his lost memories, Logan would join the Professor and become a part of his new team of X-Men as the Wolverine.
