You've captured the whole demeanor of the falcon exceedingly well. I really like the way you've placed the words as well. c:

I went to a falconry centre yesterday to help hold some for the public to see and help them fly them. It was a quiet day though (which is good because I'm not good in front of crowds).
First time I've gone to volunteer. Ima go a lot more next year.

Ooo, it is beautiful! THe feathers are wellmade, the way the drawing became more transparent at the borders, the eyes and the lightreflections... I looove iiiit!! Congratulation, dear!

Needs work on the wings, the feathers are all over and don't flow properly. There's also too much feather detail if you're doing a real life study.
Otherwise the shading is alright, as well as the flowy writing, although I'm not sure what it's there for since it's a study.

nice work! however the head looks more like a red tail's head or similar.... and all falcons (with very few exceptions) have dark dark brown eyes. might be also the reason why it looks less falcon-like to me. the beak is perfect btw

Love these because I love birds. I always have so much trouble with them because of the crazy detail in their feathers. Usually that makes me limit myself to much less detailed studies or I just make a mess. Seeing this makes me really appreciate your technique and attention to detail. Not that the other animals you've drawn don't, but I can directly relate this time.
