Tattoo commission forFirework phoenix.
I wanted to create unique and powerful phoenix design, so I picked up design from my phoenix species which secretly are hidden in piles of doodles ad craps... so yea, thats my interpretation for powerful phoenix. (inspired by Carnival of Time- Majoras Mask)
Wings arent icy, those blue parts are "icy hot". They are incredibly hot, but formed into crystal liquid instead red gas known as fire. Like... fireworks

This is incredibly gorgeous, very unique. Specially love the tail colors. Took me a couple seconds to see the head, lost in so much detail. Maybe if it's lifted it would be more visible. Keep up the wonderful work!Β

That would be an ECIP back tattoo...I love the colours on it.. And its not a normal phoenix too which by the way is also Amazing.

This is an AMAZING piece! I am a huge phoenix lover and this has got to be one of the 3 best illustrations of a phoenix I've EVER seen! You did a marvelous job with the wings. Though at first I lost track of the head, once I found it I understood the color sequence throughout the body. I like the concept with the "hot ice" as well and the semi-tribal designs on her tail feathers. As I said, very well done. So good in fact that I'm not copying and saving the picture. I'm copying and saving the web address and passing it to friends to enjoy as well.

When you get asked to do a tattoo commission for someone do they often cite what things inspired them to want the tattoo to help you out, or do you often need to seek out your own inspiration and present a few drawings to the customer to see what they're into?

By far the most unique design I have ever seen for a phoenix. Love the long feathers on the wings! I would definitely get a tattoo like that!
