Well, I haven't put up much of these lately, and this one is almost a year old. Now I have a huge backup of projects to decompile, so I'll try to catch up.

This was my first time drawing Waffle, but surely not the only time :3 Very fun!
Base character construction. I actually used what I learned from a previous piece to base Waffle's pose--I've come a long way.
Inking and character masking
First pass of shading. Although it's not much of a pass, this really determines how much contrast my shading might become.
Detailing of the eyes and hair, and second pass over the body to give more shading contrast.
Smoothed out the color for their coats--looks soft. Added highlights to the hair. Changed and tried to refine the dialogue text, but I still have terrible handwriting.
Added a background gradient and shadows. Also, I seem to have changed the dialogue again.
