Ah, this thing is so dang cute. This was the first time I've used faux fur. No joke that the fibers get all over when cutting it! I really want to try making more thing from fur now though. I think the pile is a little too thick for the size of this cat. Even trimmed down it looks more like a koala? But it has a cat tail so, it's still a cat!? What do you think?

I love this color too. <3 I got it in the LA fabric district. When I went to order it online I realized it wasn't a Shannonfabrics color so I was unable to get the exact shade again either! Opal is pretty close though.

Ohhh this one is just too cute! The embroidery and the faux fur looks great and I really like the colors. Fluffy koala ears or not I think it's definitely recognizable as a cat and not only because of it's tail.

I think it looks darling! Love the fluffy ears!
Just disregard this if you already know, but here's a handy little tip I picked up about cutting faux fur fabric just recently! Rather than using scissors, use an exacto knife (or box cutter or any similar blade) and cut the fabric that way. You may wanna lay a cutting mat or something over the surface you're cutting on, just in case. But this way, you're only cutting the base of the fabric rather than the fibers themselves. I tried this just recently and it worked wonders! Much less shedding <3

Thank you
Interesting. I will have to try cutting out the pieces that way when I go to make a whole plush out of it! I wasn't so bad initially but once this plush was completed and I intentionally began trimming down the fibers. That's when my all black clothes looked like I rolled around in a cat bed. I gave it's ears a hair cut and it still looks like this hehe!

Herp, when I was typing that, I totally forgotted you'd trimmed it down XD ahaha!
But yeah, it's quite handy when you're cutting pieces out of faux fur fabric <3
