Life span: up to 100 years, depending on health at birth

Height: up to 3 feet

Weight: up to 60 lbs depending on diet

Mating: Winter, let off special scent to attract mates

Diet: berries, leaves, various meats, fish

Bio: Sythys mostly live isolated on bare mountain tops, they prefer cold and dark places. Sythys are warm blooded. They each have their own scent, blood, and liquid that they carry with them their entire life. They all have craters that display the color of the blood and type of liquid they carry. When frightened or sad, these creaters spew their liquid and drip down the Sythys's body. When angered or annoyed (and sometimes frightened) these crators will boil and fizz like a volcano. Each Sythys has one emotion and face displayed on the tip of their tail, these faces are there to express the Sythys's inner emotion and feelings, meaning it is logically impossible for a Sythys to hide their feelings. To get stronger, the Sythys will search and find another of their species and challenge them, the males, also sometimes do this to attract a mate. They are usually lithe and strong so that they are more agile and quick enough to survive. Most Sythys belong to a group of their species called a pack. To find a leader of a pack, each memeber tests their strength. In the end, the strongest Sythys will become leader. The members of an average Sythys pack range from 5 to 20 Sythys. Albino and bright fur colored Sythys's are indeed, rare to find, and are less likely to be born. Male Sythys own two pairs of sharp horns on their head and tail, unlike the female. Sythys prefer to stay out of water, but use it as a common drink. Sythys are very friendly and are unlikely to cause trouble or messes. They love caring for each other and love teamwork, but they prefer to stay away from any different species than their own. When a Sythys is born they usually weigh around 5 lbs and 1 ft tall and do not develope the tail-face until they are 2 weeks old. Both male and female Sythys are usually the same height. In defense, they release a poisonous and acidic substance from their paws, use their sharp teeth, or even their claws. To communicate, they let out small barks, much like a dog/wolf. Their face-tails do not make any vocal
sounds.
