Personality-
Self-hidden and a People-Pleaser:
He wont show pain easily. Im not talking about physical pain. oh no, it's a much worse pain that cant be healed with a few poppy seeds and some cobwebs. Im talking about mental pain. Feelings hurt, emotions crushed. Things like that sorts. He hides his insecurity in a compact boulder. It grows, it shinks. But no one knows that, really. It's an invisible boulder, hidden away in the corners of his thoughts.
He's a people-pleaser as well, for he loves to make people smile and be happy. Even if it costs him, even if he doesnt like it. He just puts others before himself for another selfish reason entirely. To be liked.
Adventurous:
This smallish tom loves the smell of adventure. He'll run head-first into chaos if it gives him the thrill he enjoys. Not very cautious in nature, this calico cat puts his heart before his mind, rushing into battle to save a comrade or to just achive the first strike. Robinwing likes to lead patrols, and if it's a covert mission to scope out enemy territory then he wont hesiate to perk up and volunteer. This will eventually get him in trouble someday. oh well.
Trouble-some and Curious:
Robinwing is the source of other's problems sometimes. Correction. Robinwing is the source of other's problems MOST of the time. The tom cant help it. If curiousity killed the cat then Robinwing should have died 12 lives ago. He loves to discover new things, find new places, the usual curious stuff curious people look for. This often leads him into trouble. Of course. Stepped on tails, trampled nests, scared prey. The usual. But this doesnt distir Robin in the least, to some others unfortunate luck.
Insecure:
Now let's talk about a little voice in Robin's head. Picture it as a small like fleck, dancing on the breeze of Robinwing's thoughts. Although it is small, it's role in all of the tom's actions is there. It clings on to some breezes, but others it just simply watches from above, like a hawk circling around for the right prey. This little fleck is Robinwing's insecurity. It plays a big part in all of Robin's actions, for this tom is a people-pleaser by heart. Now what happens when a people pleaser makes the others unhappy, or does something wrong. This causes the fleck to grow into a bigger fleck, clouding the decisions of this calico cat. Robin usually questions every action he completes that doesnt envolve hunting or anything like that. When a decision is lead by an emotion is when Robinwing questions himself. How will it effect the others. How will it effect my brother. How will it effect himself. Sometimes it becomes too much for the tom and he avoids the question completely, allowing the insecurity to fester and grow into something hidious. He hides all his real pain and emotion behind a bad smile, for guilt laid heavily on this tom's heart.(see history below)
Unforgiving:
Robin isnt the "oh if your sorry then it's ok" type of feline. No, if you do something wrong then you must and will pay for your crimes. It wont be all roses and sunshine either. Robin believes in equality and "treat others how you want to be treated". to an extent. kind of. Anyways, Robin holds grudges against anyone and anything and will make sure to pester you every minute and day of your life until you own up or pay up to ur wrong-doing.
History:
Kithood:
Born with a twin brother, he was the bigger of the two kits. His smaller twin, back then called Tinypaw, was the weaker of the two with a messed up front paw. The clan believed that the small kit would not thrive because of this and doubted Tinykit. This action infuriated Robinkit as he hissed at all who questioned his brother's talents and what he could and couldnt do in the future. When Tinykit's paw healed Robinkit was thrilled and rubbed it in all the cats who questioned his brother. This caused everyone in the clan to slowly dislike the older twin. This didnt faze Robin one bit. At least, not back then. Tiny and Robin would sometimes sneak out of the nursery to watch the older warriors and clan members of Shadowclan. They would always watch with each other at their side, observing how the camp functioned everyday.
On one particular day though, they snuck out of the nursery den to discover an injured sparrow lying hurt on the ground. Tiny thought of the idea to bring the hurt bird to their mother to prove that Tiny wasnt some weakling, that he was ready to become a apprentice. Robin went along with idea, helping drag the injured bird when no cats were looking to their mom. But what he didnt agree on is the idea of Tinykit leaving the nursery without him. Leaving him alone. That didnt seem fair, for Robinkit had stayed by Tinykit's side through all the insults, all the dissapointing glares and thoughts of no promise. He always stood up for his brother, defending him against all. But his brother was so willing to leave him, to start early with his training and get ahead of Robin. Quite honestly it hurt the young tom, allowing that insecurity seed to blossom. But he hid all that behind a grin and helped along his smaller twin. Apon seeing Tiny alone with the injured prey Tinykit's name was changed to Sparrowkit. Though this action was not enough to get Sparrowkit to start his training early. The twins both kept their heads high, though shamefully Robinkit let out a sigh of relief. Heh, he really was a monster.
Apprentice hood
Both Sparrow and Robin took their training seriously, though Robinpaw got distracted and curious one way or another. Slowly but surely Robinpaw's twin brother was becoming better and better than Robin. He was getting stronger, faster, leaner, smarter. Just about everything in the book. Though Robin tried he couldnt catch up to Robin's speed of training. He alway trained, always was doing something. This slowly caused Robin to get more and more lonely. He'd never had any other friends other than his twin, and because of his past times defending his brother it caused most of the clan to not like him. It slowly ate at Robin. Consumed his emotions as the loneliness took hold. It also angered and saddened him. He always defended his brother, stayed by his side rather than laughing with the rest of the clan. Yet as soon as the time came Sparrowpaw left his brother for training. Did all of his actions mean nothing? Or did Sparrowpaw just despise his older brother and trained to stay away from his mangey pelt. Of course Robin never dared to tell his brother this, for his insecure mind prevent such an action in fear of what the answer would be.
One day Robin and Sparrow went out hunting together in what seemed like ages. Excitement bristled along his spine, for he finaly had his brother back! Even if it was only for a short time, Robinpaw was going to enjoy his younger twin's company. But on this trip they discovered a fox, it's frightening size scaring Sparrowpaw. With a hiss and a spit the fox raced away from the two apprentices, dissapearing into the territory ahead. Adreniline and excitment raced through Robinpaw's veins as he sped after the large creature, calling out to his brother to follow. At first he didnt hear pawsteps behind but quickly an extra pair trailed after Robinpaw. Sparrowpaw caught up to Robinpaw as the saw the bushy tail of the fox slide into it's large den under a tree in the forest. What a discovery! Ooh their leader was going to love this! Jumping to his paws, Robinpaw explained to Sparrowpaw that they were going to tell the leader this discovery. Sparrowpaw quickly agreeded to this statement and soon after they raced to camp to tell their leader. The leader then put a patrol together and sent it after the dangerous fox. They soon returned after and stated that the threat was no longer there. Both Sparrow and Robin were happy with this news for the creature would now have no oppurtunity to hurt any of their clanmates.
Months passed after this event and the twins were nearing their warrior cerrimonies. Robin had discovered that his brother did not like to fight! what? how could he not enjoy the thrill and rush of battle? At this time, the speck of insecurity had grown into a rock size, blocking the thoughts that ran through Robin's mind and actions. Out of instinct Robin sneered at his brother's weakness, laughing at his ideas of peace. Internally, Robin was screaming and shoving at that rock, begging for it to move so that he could see his brother. But it didnt budge, nor did Robin externally as he abandoned his brother to hang out with the other apprentices. At first it was only a one time deal, but after hanging out with the other apprentices he realized that he enjoyed making them smile, laugh, be happy. This is what he used to do with his brother, only this was at a larger scale. Many others were laughing, liking him and his jokes. But he knew he should go back. With a twist of his paw Robin turned to return to his brother when he overheard Sparrowpaw talking to himself, saying things such as "why am i alone" and "what did i do".
Robinpaw snapped at hearing this.
Really? Really?? Sparrowpaw was wondering and acting all glum after sitting around alone for one day. When he had been sitting around for his brother for moons! Sitting, waiting for him to finish his extra train so he could have a few whisps of words before Sparrow went off to bed. Purposely falling asleep early and waking up early just so he could say goodmorning to his twin. To say hello. To greet his family, his kin, his only brother even if it ment that it annoyed him and left bags under his eyes. All this and many more to just spend time with his dear brother, and his brother complains after one day? With a harsh glint in his eyes Robinpaw turned and returned to the other apprentices, deciding that his brother could go a few more days of silence. But eventually Robin's brotherly instincts pushed past the rock of insecurity in his mind and joined back up with his brother, once again in the routine of waiting long nights and early mornings for his dear brother to come back to camp. But it's ok. Sparrowpaw began to like Robin more, as he noticed, and it only helped chizle away the boulder back into a small pebble as Robinpaw realized that his brother is more important than any other friends. Even if they were about as different as the sun and the moon.
Present time
Robinwing is now a full warrior, content with the lifestyle he lives today. He barely scraped his way through the final exam, while his brother passed with flying colors. As usual. But whatever. Robin's just proud of how far his brother has come in his training. Much better off then him but oh well. His brother is a fine and fit pint-sized warrior now. Not that he's much bigger but again, oh well. While his brother is off smiling with friends, Robin trails a fox-lenght behind. But it's ok. SparrowCry is looking for love, while Robin is running away from it, for the thought of loving someone just sends shivers down his spine. But it's ok. Sparrow is liked by many others for his soft but caring personality, while Robinwing just sticks to his younger brother's side like a prickly thorn. But it's ok. While Sparrow gets invited to converstions, Robinwing butts into ones. But it's ok. SparrowCry is drifting away again from Robinwing to be with other friends, not noticing him sometimes.
But it's ok.
...right?
Relations (i want to edit this as time goes on)
Father- Birchfur
Mother- Mothwing
Brother- SparrowCry (owned by wolfvids )
Likes: Being surrounded by other, others' happiness from his actions, his brother,
Dislikes: Himself sometimes, his insecurity, others that doubt his brother's abilities, hot weather, being alone to think by himself, being weak, when someone doesnt like something he does, when he angers others
Roleplay example:
Robinwing slowly padded across the clearing, his momentum causing a small breeze to shift the dead leaves that littered the ground out of the calico cat's way. His pawsteps created small, dull thudding noises on the compacted earth, bare from being walked over many times by many paws. as he reached the center of the clearing, he dropped the deceased sparrow onto the prey pile, placing it neatly on top of a small field mouse. Suddenly Robin's ears pricked at the sound of a certian voice, swerving around quickly to discover the location of the sound. There, not far off, was a group of felines sharing tounges in an almost circle under the shade of a large boulder, it's darkness providing cool relief for the ones who rested there. It was then Robinwing noticed his smaller twin, Sparrowcry, chatting away with the group, putting in small inputs here and there the group enjoyed. Robin then quickly picked back up his recently-caught sparrow in his small jaws and padded briskly over to the small group, his steps quick and needy. He hadn't seen his brother all day, for he had been occupied with a morning patrol followed by a sunhigh hunting patrol. His brother's back was towards Robinwing, facing inwards to the group of cats. It was then when Robin was about a few fox-lengths away that he noticed it.
The glares.
All of the felines that faces towards Robin gave him ice-cold glares, ones that sent shivers down your spine and your ears to lay back. Which is what happened exactly. Robinwing to one look and the multiple pairs of eyes and quickly turned towards the opposite direction, away from his brother and the others with his tail between his legs. Pathetic. Whatever. It's fine. Robinwing settled down under the shade of a small juniper bush nearby, delicatly tucking in his paws beneath him as he munched on his sparrow coldly. He could feel it though. the pebble. it was building back up again. soon it was going to be a rock. again.
Its. fine. though.
Credit to the pelt design bases and the average male cat height silhouette goes to = fallen-kitty!
