Derp derp derppppp. I get really self conscious uploading half my art - is that normal? Always fandom shit. I'm always leery of the hate I might get, BECAUSE DEVIANTART IS POPULAR FOR THAT~~~~I PROMISED I'D START UPLOADING MORE THOUGH SOOOO. MORE SKETCHES AND THIS CRAP FOR YOU GUYS~

SO; we all know I have fun humanizing everything. Literally. For shits and giggles. It's not like I don't draw them normal style, the humanizing shit logically is just a fun challenge sometimes ;u; Nat and I, while playing Crack in Time, were making comments about how Azimuth reminded us of Dustin Hoffman and a bunch of things like that.
And we were laughing at the horrible humanizations people HAVE done. So, after me NAY SAYING for a while - she conned me into doing it after she went to bed ;;
Then I colored it. And here it is. WELP. I LIKE IT AT LEAST. This new coloring style is TOTALLY STAYING for a while ;U;
Should just title this "Shaved Cat" but then all I can think of is the movie Fur haaaaahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa *sigh* whyyyyy. I'm crawling back into bed ;A;

He does look a bit like Dustin Hoffman, but I think you've really captured Alister's ke elements and making them recognisable in human form. The armour looks really great as well, especially with the collar you've drawn to make the outfit more realistic. I would say that this is a really good demonstration for humanising fictional characters! Well done, Nove!

Well when you put it that way, Azimuth does have some features that reminds you of Hoffman. 
Normally I don't dig the whole humanization from an official character that is a hybrid anthro or whatever, but I think this is one of the best human representation of a well known character I have ever seen. Love the gritty atmosphere in this portrait.

And yeah I usually don't upload them because people make a big stink about them, but... it's a challenge for yourself to take a character and do this with them while staying true to the character's looks~ So thanks ;u; I hate humanization too honestly, guess that's why I'm so anal about doing it 'right' myself haha <3

yeah, those might be the big fandom farts that make a huge deal about this kind of approach in art.
Well artists can act too hard with whatever they draw and even I have those moments too. But at the same time, just be strong in whatever you show to the public and I'm sure there are some people out there that will like the work. I like to think optimistic about what I post rather than having an anal mood about it.

I've never been to any kind of college or university honestly haha ;A;
I know game design is hard to get into and you look at college students going for those degrees and they put a LOT of time and effort into it that i myself am beginning to doubt I can do, so ;u; if you're BREATHING art more than the average kid, and think you can do 125% hardwork? Go for it <3 I don't really know how universities differ from colleges though honestly so... I'm not much help.
