Okay, so here is the mask as seen in my cosplay of the Thuggish Splicer from Bioshock. I have previously uploaded the unweathered version of this mask, and it also had a slightly different paint pattern on it. I modified the paint pattern because I took another look at the in game visual of the mask and noticed it was a bit different than the concept art version of it. So being slighty anal retentive I had to use the in game version!
I also added the weathering, smudges and blood splatter as well, because you can't be a Splicer without blood splatter! Feel free to comment, as all criticism is welcome.

How did you make it? Like, what material did you use? If you don't mind me asking...I was considering making my own for a Halloween party.

It's made out of a high density plaster (Hydrostone). Basically I carved the shape that I wanted out of foam, and then put seran wrap over the foam, and then proceeded to use a plaster mache technique. Instead of plaster of paris I used the Hydrostone though. Also I found that instead of using newspaper, cheese cloth worked better. Be prepared for a crap load of sanding though!
