Aiden was rather proud of his new life. At 23, after having concluded the famous pact which bound his soul to the demon Athremir; theft, famine and disease were far behind him. Aiden now had all that he dreamed of, all he wanted. Wealth, popularity and women.
His friends described him as an altruistic and caring person. He liked to be surrounded by people and there was not an evening without a ball or party organized in his luxurious castle. It was during these festivals that he met Anghjulina, a woman with long black hair and a fine face. Her timidity and discretion had melted the heart of the wealthy young man, and Thomas was born into a loving union.

He had entrusted his secret to his best friend Armand, himself a vampire. He along knew that at each full moon, Aiden turned into an ignoble beast thirsty for blood, and would have no control over himself, or very little. Armand was the same friend who taught him how to handle a sword and use a bow to perfection.

But at the approach of the first year of his curse, at the birth of his son, his behaviour changed abruptly. A whole other person had taken this man's compassionate and admirable character and hid it away.
Violence, manipulation, harassment and lack of empathy had made him a monstrous and impossible person to reason with. His social circle collapsed, and all he had left was his fortune.

Finally, guided by hatred, he swore to destroy all of which he knew, all of the person who abandoned him.
