Description Almost thirty years had passed since his new life as a werewolf. Although the early days were most agreeable, his personality changed abruptly because of his curse. His relatives abandoned him, but the Lycan, more enraged than ever, decided to take revenge.

His long funeral list was about to end the day when Asgarel finally found the person who took care of his newborn; A priest, Father Alexander, a man of advanced age but of great wisdom and beloved of the whole village. The latter took care of the most miserable and took the time to listen to them.

A few months after her marriage with Aiden, the young wife with long black hair came to his church, exhausted from her long journey, covered with scratches and bruises. Her small round belly suggested that she was carrying the fruit of a loving union.

"I'm Anghjulina, help me ..." she said desperately before falling into the arms of the man of faith. How long had she walked, and what had prompted her to undertake this perilous journey in this physical condition ?

After a deserved rest, she retraced her life in the smallest details since she had met Aiden. The Father understood what kind of monster the poor girl was going along with, and advised her to remain with him, under the protection of God. But she refused, the child mattered more than anything. She had decided that after the birth of her son, she would entrust him to the church. The man accepted and together they elaborated the plan of the future escape. Later, he took her home, discreetly.

Three decades later, Aiden stood in front of the same church. Its location set back from the village was perfect to go unnoticed. Fists clenched, he grunted at the thought of what he was going to discover behind these doors.

"Wait for me," he ordered to Asgarel. The latter replied with a movement of the head.

The Lycan entered abruptly, and made the priest jump, occupied at the back of his sanctuary to burn the few tapers on the altar. The old man was petrified at the arrival of this monster. Never could he have imagined such a monstrosity in this sacred place.

"NOX!" Shouted the beast as he advanced towards the Father.
"Does that name mean something to you ?

"No ... what are you talking about? "Alexander replied, completely frightened.

When he reached his height, the wolf assigned him a violent blow of claws to the face which made the poor man collapse.

"Lying is a sin, isn’t it ?" Asked Aiden.

The priest dragged himself back painfully, while the shadow of his aggressor continued to oppress him.

"So, the priest who hides a werewolf under his roof is just a legend? Tell me where he is and I will leave you in peace." Continued there

The man of faith, completely sounded, tried to get up. Bringing his hands to his head, he felt the blood running down his face. His vision had become blurry and he began to tremble. On his knees, he raised his head and discovered what stood before him:
An immense beast whose light projected behind its back made it as divine as powerful.

Crossing himself, he whispered "God will forgive you, I will do everything I can for you..."

"NONSENSE !" Aiden shouted from rage "Where was your god when I needed him ?!"

The monster lifted the priest by the collar of his cassock, looked him straight in the eyes, and angrily said,
"I give you one last chance or you will end up consumed by your own tapers."

The terrible voice of the lycan resounded in his head. He saw in his yellow and cruel eyes all the hatred he carried in him. After a brief reflection, He finally answered with a trembling voice:

"Ten years ago, he turned into his beast form and the villagers chased him to the forest. I never saw him again, I swear! "

Aiden, without a word, pacified his rage and put the old man back on his feet. He was sure that he had told him the truth. After all, a person suspected of lycanthropy wouldn’t make old bones in the midst of men.

He went to the exit while he was listening to the last words of the priest "Your son used to be a good man! "

"A cursed being can’t be good," he replied with his deep voice, shrugging his shoulders before disappearing out.

Outside, Asgarel, lying beneath a bush and completely melted by the heat, got up as soon as Aiden arrived. The latter commanded him:

"There surely are hunters here. Find them and ask for it. "
