I'll try to answer your question. Please bear with me I'm not much of a theologian. First of all Jesus came here not to make us follow his WORD. Jesus took the punishment that was meant for us because we are sinners. Jesus had no sin because he committed none. He became a sinner because he took ours without committing any sin. Only sinners deserve punishment. Since he became the sinner he was punished for our sins.

Please read John 3:16 and other verses that i'll mention here at [link] . Here Jesus sacrificed himself so when we accept his free gift of salvation we can live lives pleasing to him and that we can have a free ticket to heaven when we die regardless of what sins we have. All sins have been forgiven once we accept him. If good people go to heaven and bad people go to hell, how good should we be to pass God's standards. Actually no one is good enough (Romans 3:23)but because God is a god of love he gave his only son as payment for our sins. We didn't deserve it, we're meant to die and go to hell because of our sins. Jesus was not even ordered by God the Father to do this. It was his choice. He didn't have to do it but he remembered you.

I have accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and savior 10 years ago. It made a big difference. I am a much better person. I trust God , i don't worry, I have peace, I obey his commands. God's not making me do it. He left the Holy spirit in me when I accepted Jesus. The Holy Spirit helps me obey his word. it's not by my own strength but by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is called grace. it's about having a relationship with him and not about religion.

Now why not in China? I'ts really tough to explain. But God chose the jews and Israel for something. Maybe because of the culture or something else. I really don't know. I'll do some research on that if you like. But one thing I can answer, crucifixion is a Roman invented execution. Maybe God planned it in Israel because this country was conquered by Romans. He had to be nailed on the cross to pay for our sins( he did it voluntarily for you). The stripes on Jesus, back because of the whipping healed our diseases Isaiah 53:5, he became poor so we can become rich 2 Corinthians 8:9, and there's lot more benefits included. Even though Jesus is jewish and not chinese his free gift of salvation is a free gift for all regardless of race. But only Christians get that salvation. Not everyone is a child of God. Only those who accept Jesus become Christians John 1:12. Only Christians get saved. Good thing everyone can be a Christian, it has nothing to do with religion. All we need to do is accept him and start a relationship with Jesus. No need to switch religions.
