I had this idea in my sketchbook for a time traveling robot so today I decided to paint it. 10 Hours all in photoshop.UPDATE: I changed the head and the lighting.

I just realized that this right here, the whole concept of a time traveling robot, would make a great Doctor Who episode, just imagine the doctors face

Very interesting, the head of the robot makes me wonder if you got a little bit of inspiration from the design of the Daft Punk's helmets? But it doesn't matter, it's still very well done and awesome.

Sicmap, I seriously love your comments. They're always well thought out which I appreciate. I've always liked daft punk's helmets but if the inspiration was from them it was subconscious. Subconscious or not I think I'll go back and redesign the helmet because it looks too similar which is distracting from the concept I wanted to create. Thanks man!
