Description
Close up of digigrade leg stilts, made for under $75 worth of supplies. It has some problems, but myself and the person I'm working with have a more complicated idea, we just wanted to try them out before spending all the money. To see video go here [link]

Most of the time, I walk that way without having to use a supporter.

I can tell you now that you might want to add some padding and something to reduce friction. You're gonna be hurting within the first few hours and major blisters after that. They look great as prototypes, good design, they just need a little safety measure now. That and you might want to replace your wood with welded metal. I've seen some amazing digitigrade stilts made out of wood that have snapped within the first day of use, destroying a well made costume.

Yeah, these are defiantly just prototypes. I'm actually thinking of using a combination of carbon fiber and aluminum plates for the next layout and yes much more padding and support in the upper leg region.

That sounds great! The next pair should work real well then. Best of luck!
