A birthday gift for

This year, I wanted to attempt drawing one of Malamite's characters that I've never drawn before. And since his current focus is mainly on his series "The Last Soldier" featuring the creatures known as "Teijru", I decided to choose Calcite . But rather than just draw a simple picture of him, I also decided to add in my Teijru character, Lead.

Now, there's a bit of backstory to this drawing. Anyone that follows my work knows that Lead tends to feel down a lot due to his lack of companionship. But for Lead, it's nice to remember that he has friends like Calcite to help him out when life tends to get him down. And that's basically what I was trying to aim for here was a "hey friend, don't worry" sort of thing.
