What tutorial would you recommend for a beginner customizer? I need a bit of guidance...

I just love all your ponies! >.<
one question: if sculpey must be oven-baked to get nice and hard, how doesn't the base pony (which is some kind of plastic/rubber, right?) get deformed at the temperature the sculpey must bake in?
it may sound weird, but i've never worked with sculpey and i've been thinking about it XD
thank you!

Sorry it took me so long to respond - I only bake it for 11-13 minutes and while the silicone is hot and the ponies feel kind of wiggley, they've never melted or become deformed in any way. Also - thank you!

Oooh it's great seeing how you did this! Does the sculpy air dry at all (I remember baking it, but I don't think that would work with the plastic ponies)?
Absolutely love this though, your work is so fantastic!

Thank you so much! And nope, I use Super Sculpey (though this might have been normal sculpey) and it is baked. The ponies don't seem to take any damage - they are just soft for a few minutes after baking. I think milliput is the common one to use for air drying

Oooh, gotcha! I had wondered about the ponies in the oven, but that definitely simplifies things for you if they don't melt, haha. Very cool - thanks again for the insight!

No problem! Let me know if you have any more questions
(just if you do bake it, super sculpey is only supposed to be baked for like 12-15 minutes. So don't bake it longer than that!)

Thanks so much! Yeah, searched around to see what other people were using. Use super sculpey if you're going to use sculpey. Otherwise everyone recommends milliput

hmmmm, so applejack is really zecora, I never would have guessed, but that explains why zecora was only in TWO episodes!!
