The snake was actually in captivity. You wouldn't want to get bitten by one of these - there is no anti Twig Snake medicine, and they are bad news.

You gotta love those eyes-one of the few snakes that have really good vision, these guys. They're also one of the few Colubrids capable of killing a human, along with the Boomslang. Neat-looking little snakes, though.
