Description
Since I was bored with nothing to do, I decided to make some art with Stripes meeting face to face with one of my zalgoids, in this one of the Zalgolian Mantoids.Here is Stripes returning back home to Zalgo's palace from her daily life in the upper part of the Underrealm, only for her to meet one of the Zalgolian Mantoids waiting for her at the front stairs of the royal palace itself, in this case Mantoid 231. They seem to not like each other for some reason. I made a short story to go with it.
Mantoid 231: Mistress Stripes, you've returned.
Stripes: Of course, I've returned.
Mantoid 231: Where were you all this time?
Stripes: Away in Underworld City, having fun. Why do you ask?
Mantoid 231: For a zalgoid, I question your lifestyle.
Stripes: Like you would know.
Mantoid 231: I've served the dark lord himself as far back as the first apocalypse. And I have seen things changed over the millennium.
Stripes: And?
Mantoid 231: The Zalgoids I have seen are alot different from the one's I use to know.
Stripes: You have something against me and my siblings as well as other zalgoids?
Mantoid 231: No, as a loyal servant to Lord Zalgo, it is my duty to serve those of the zalgolian bloodline.
Stripes: Are you done?
Mantoid 231: I am.
Stripes: Mantoid 231, if there is anything you should know, never judge those that are related to you.
Mantoid 231: Believe me Mistress Stripes, I know all too well.
Stripes: Well see about that.
This is the first time I have drawn Stripes. I wasn't sure whether or not to give Stripes her mask, but I decided to because with it and the goggles, she invokes the looks of a mantis, that and coupled with the fact is with the horns on her head and the coat she wears, she really does look like one.
Yes, the Mantoid is maroon if anyone is going to ask.
In my universe, Zalgo's palace exists in the nether realm, in this case, it is located in the depths of the Underworld within a mountain itself.
The Mantoids were created by Zalgo to serve him as well as anyone from his bloodline regardless if they are biological or adopted. They are colored either Black, Grey, Maroon or Red.
