A tea plantation! What better base for a wallpaper!?(I really LOVE tea incase ya didn't know)

This is so unusual for a plantation to have this look! I want to know more
First with an easy one; where was this picture taken?
then with a harder one; why are the cultures getting that shape? Do the cultivators travel by those rows to put water in dry times? Cause the rows are very large so it's probably not just for harvesting purpose.... Thats mysterious to me
