Hey guys!I thought I would have heaps of time these holidays to paint all the works I wanted to through the year, though I have 2.5 jobs going at the moment one at the local bottle shop and one at the university and a few commissions now and again, so time is very limited. Not being able to paint has been slowly killing me though I was able to smash this together over the past few afternoons.
There is a big chance this will be edited because I am not overly happy with the final product but hopefully you guys could give me some constructive crits to help me make it the best I can!

Absolutely love your work. Do you use PS to colour?
Can I ask for a tip? What tool/settings did you use to get the glimmer on his claw at the top?

I do use PS and to get that effect I made a layer above everything.
Set that Layer's mode to Liniar Dodge and then just got a bit soft brush and busted a bright bright yellow in there.

Looks pretty good for the most part, but I do think more contrast would be great i.e. make the yellow more yellow and the brown more black

My only problem would have to be the brown instead of blue on his costume (the original blue+yellow spandex), but this is good too, i guess.

wolvies kinda "extra ribb-y".maybe take some edge off the definition and the abs would pop more. I think the color change in the costume plays a part in that too, cause the foreground hand even seems understated, maybe some of that white highlight on that (like around his right pinky) ?What do I know though, I'm just throwin' out ideas.
The background does work really well and the piece is overall really good.

How many other super heroes can pull off brown and orange with such aplomb? EXACTLY.
I do like the new one though, it's a nice merger of his other design. Personally, I think the worst costume of Wolvie's is the leather one during "New X-Men". He looked like a gay biker.
