grass: NEVER AGAIN. not with a mouse, anyway.i have to go now! D: i'll write more later, though the pic is pretty self-explanatory anyway.

yes, and using it did cross my mind. but getting the settings to mimic the thickness, shape, opaqueness, etc that i had in mind would've been as complex as doing the grass with the poly. lasso tool was time-consuming! D:

Well wwhen I need to do grass or anything like that. I just use the brush with the scatering/roundering option in the program. Like I did in 'Coutry Bunny City Cat'.

I congratulate you on the grass, and the wonderful shading with the bright colors on this piece. It's very sweet, they way Rosette and Chrno are just laying peacefully under the sun.
The only thing that looks a bit strange to me, is the way Rosette's face is angled. Her head is tilted to the side, but her face is not. I think it would work if you moved the nose/mouth a bit higher. But that's just my opinion.

thanks a lot~ C: i know what you mean about Rosette's face. i noticed it while CGing, but after staring at it for a while, it didn't seem bad enough to be worth the trouble it would take to fix it.
if i ever go back and do a revision or editing of this piece (as i'm wont to do from time to time) i'll add that to my list of things to change. c;
