I was a bit taken aback when I watched it and didn't feel it was X-files at all. I expected something really great but it turned out to be such a big disappointment.

I disliked the story. It lacked any plot twists or a decent climax. And Scully's plot line with the sick kid seemed very forced.

Have you seen the recent movie The Fourth Kind? Now that was a story for an XF movie! I wish they went in that direction.

Yeah,same. I also got bored with the kid quickly.

No I haven't but I really wanted to see that.
At least XF3 should be better, back to the paranormal and aliens and all. Classic X-Files.
