While already interesting enough in appearance, Katherine is not like any other mime within the population of the Mimes of Despair.

Although she wears a very rock-esque outfit, her personality is not far from anyone else---bubbly, hyper and often optimistic within the walls of the mime hotel and out, not to mention she can be a bit mischievious. It's without a doubt that she's probably the most okay with being a Mime of Despair...for how they usually recruit people. Her optimism shines well, it seems. She's very into conversations with the other mimes, with obviously sign langauge and likes to crack jokes every once in a while...although it may take some time to understand her oddball humor. She likes cats too, but that seemed obvious enough due to her nekomimi appearance, and has a very unique sense of arousal whenever someone is seen tied up or bonded. Nonetheless, she stands out surprisingly well for someone who has had their fate change.

It isn't just her shining personality that stands out within the Mimes of Despair--it's her devotion to it too. She loves the cult and Mima with a passion, more or less just has a thing for Mima. She is very obsessed over her and while may not be exactly be very in control of how she feels for her, she's almost like a robot who is just purely devoted to what Mima wants. She often likes to convert others into Mimes under Mima's order and does it proudly, nothing else. Her weapon being a gun, is also used when she has to do something. It can switch from shooting a boxing glove as a gag, tape to bond others up, paint to convert, or real bullets. She also gets to be in charge of the punishments of the other mimes, in which she is able to sew other mime's mouths closed some of the time, and that's where it gets interesting...

Being able to punish others, she's allowed to do it alone with the victim. And that's where it all changes. Katherine's cute and energetic attitude suddenly comes to a halt, and out shows a more obediant and masohistic personality within her. In this personality, Katherine is almost an entirely new person at most. The jokes stop, the games end. Katherine now shows a more...crazed personality here, talking on and on about how much she loves her "queen" and how she wants everyone to be a mime, and such...deranged material about her love for the Mimes of Despair (talk about pulling a Mikan Tsumiki despair style). She could go on and on, but it'll probably be the last thing you can expect to hear...or see out of her before your mouth is no longer usable. After it happens, that personality disappears and returns to the happy person she is. It's more likely than not you'll see this deranged prsonality of hers outside of than just the punishments.

As for her past....it's not easy to say when or what caused her to be so devoted to Mima, let alone when she was converted. All that's really known is that she views herself nothing more than Mima's truly loyal pet who does most of the dirty work for her. Whether it's introducing people into the cult or handling the more...behind the scenes material, the true nature of Katherine before her miming is nothing but a mystery to this day.

Or at least, it seems that way.
