I recently caved in and imported Rhythm Tengoku: The Best+, and holy crap it's so much fun! Conveniently, my two favorite Rhythm Heaven games from DS and Fever, Blue Birds and Flock Step, are right next to each other, so I decided to draw my two favorite rhythm birds together again! I did a lot of work with the background, basing it off of the background of Bird Land, which Flock Step and Blue Birds are in, and I'm pretty impressed with how I did it.Anyway, even with having the new game with a slightly complicated way of launching it through a 3DS hack method for bypassing the region lock, I'm still hoping Nintendo of America will announce this game for North America, because it's honestly becoming my favorite Rhythm Heaven game! It's just so good, and I want everyone to play it!

Blue Birds and Flock Step are probably my favorite rhythm minigames from the series, so I was happy to see them right next to each other. It is a bit sad that they don't get any second minigame or used in a remix. Also would have liked to seen Love Lab and Tap Troupe back as well.
Maybeeeeeee they could have DLC or somethi- actually I kind of doubt it with this game unfortunately.

I wish they did have DLC though, because my 3 favorite games arent on Best+. Rap Men? Nope. Love Lab? Nope. Tap Troupe? Nope. Atleast Pajamas, Stairs Catch, and Interpreter exist.

I really would have loved to seen those three with the 3D effect. It's unfortunate. But hey, who knows? Nintendo's surprised us before with DLC coming out of the blue with Smash, Mario Kart, and some other game I can't think of at the time of typing this.
Also I love Pajamas and Interpreter so much.

Do you know how to get more characters to fight in the Streetpass Figure Fighter? I beat the Red Gatekeeper, and the next fighter, who's probably Tebiri, isn't showing up.

Have no clue on that. I haven't had the game for very long, so I haven't fought many of the characters in Figure Fighter. I haven't even beaten the main story yet. I've been working on the towers. I think I have Donut Tower and Bird Tower left.

Unlocked a few days ago. It doesn't have the cute little drum guy from the GBA, but it's still OK and fun.

Huh, that's actually a decent looking imagining if they were on The Best+.
I wouldn't minding seeing them in the game, but lord knows I'd have a hard time with this minigame. This minigame gave me the hardest time when playing it on Rhythm Tengoku. I still don't know why.

Same here with Perfects and Life challenges.
Expect for some reason I've had almost no issue with perfects in The Best+. It could just be me, but I think they're actually easier to get than past games.
But other than the new game, there's only two perfects I've only managed to get in the other games. First one being Hole in One in Fever, because it's rather simple. Second one being Blue Birds on DS because I somehow did it. What I really need to do is get a Perfect on Flock Step on Fever because I am ashamed that I haven't managed to do it yet.

All you get from it is a lyrics card, and not any music though. I'm happy you can buy all the music in The Best+.

Yeah, I really like what they did with the collectibles in The Best+! Being able to buy music and items with coins, and extra minigames withΒ FlowΒ Orbs from getting perfects and completing Challenge Train levels.
Thinking about it, I still need to see/figure out what the note reads with the Huebird Feathers.

The basic story without really spoiling anything later is that you're helping a new character called Tebiri get back to The Kingdom of Heaven by completing the many rhythm games while helping some other new characters as you complete those games.

Nice! In the Challenge Train levels, I HATE 3 LIFE CHALLENGES. Still on the 2nd world, but I fear what Redron world will have... it has Frog Hop 2 sped up. I don't like that.

What I dislike most is those perfect hit challenges with the monster thing trying to eat your screen. It's really nerve-wracking to me! Especially with Monkey Watch. Monkey Watch will always be my worst game.

How far are you into the challenges? I'm still stuck on Burruku World. I probably won't get to Redron World because of FAN CLUB WITH 2 LIVES. I hate it.

I'm trying to work at Bluke World as well, but trying to finish one more challenge on Yemon. The challenge with Micro-Row, Blue Birds, Flipper-Flop, and Flock Step. Flipper-Flop with it's life challenge keeps getting me.

As far as I recall, you don't have to clear everything to unlock the next world. I think I did every challenge on Yemon World besides the Remix Maniac levels and unlocked Bluke World. I don't know if the same would apply for unlocking Redron World, but I imagine it probably would.

I just got to Redron World, acually. Left Super Remix Maniac behind though. In order to get to it, I had to do Fan Club and Figure Fighter 2 lives, and Air Rally and Rhythm Rally 3 lives. But it was worth it.
Oh GOD, I just unlocked Lockstep Hell, too.

One of the best ways to prepare for life challenges is to farm Perfects. I'm not trying to do a life challenge ATM, but I've gotten 37 Perfects in the last 3 hours from just farming. And I didn't think I could do it, TBH.

37 perfects? Nice. I've been busy trying to do the Gate Challenges to try and unlock the four endless games. Chicken Car is giving such a hard time on the hardest difficulty for some reason.
