i love the glowing blue eyes, but it kind of bothess me that i see no pupil. from afar it looks great. well, as any scribble/doodle goes, this is pretty cool.

I use a triangle brush and a few custom brushes that are a mixture of squares and circles.
Triangle brushes are similar in behavior to round brushes except they provide very sharp angles. I prefer them over round brushes for lots of stuff.

I'm working on depth myself, so don't take what I say to heart haha. But as things get further away from you, they tend to have less detail and often times are desaturated compared to things very close to you. Cold colors are often used to show depth (the further away things are, they colder they get.)
Can you tell what color a car is from very far away? Not many people can. But as things get closer to you, details get crisper, and color is obvious (in most cases)
Moving things, especially fast stuff, can be blurred.

that's a nice watercolor effect,is that in SAI? And yeah a ref for here would be awesome she looks fun to paint...especially because of those eyes.
