Even tough I'm no native english speaker plus that hearing speech, especially in other langugages, isn't my strong ability. But I can still hear pretty good almost everything you said even tough you were ill in this video. And wow, what a animation program you have there plus those skills of yours... It was very interesting watching you do it!

You're very welcome! And lol, I wouldn't call your voice dead at all even tough you were ill at that time. I think you did very good, some illnessess does really take the voice for sure. Believe me at this, I've had some nasty colds in my life, ad there are even worse colds which takes the voice away completely, making that you cannot speak at all in the time you're ill. Sicknesses sucks for sure!
Other, After Effects seems like a very awesome program and it seems very expensive too, lol. ^^

That was absolutely wonderful to listen to! I've been curious as to how you've done your animations from still images for so long now, as did many others obviously, so it's amazing to see you at work and your creative process. Would you say this particular project was easier to work on because the artist separated the elements into layers, as opposed to working from an already compressed image where you'd have to cut out each item? I would imagine the latter would take more time. Either way, congratulations to that artist for winning your contest, it's a lovely scene made even lovelier by animation, bravo!

Thanks for the fav, and for the huge comment .
I'm glad it has cleared up and answered a few questions for people, it's not something I could explain in words so was finally worth doing .
Is is tons easier to work from seperate layers (for example the Snail took the best part of 2 weeks to cut up and edit before starting animation and even 1 month into it I was still cutting and editing parts to continue the animation process.
This one I animated in segments as I edited each character and the BG.....
Or as one last example of how having the layers helped.. The Slow Clap Portal animation took the best part of 4-5 hours..instead of what might have been a few days .
Thanks again.
