The cutting edge should be up for a katana. So you right hand should have another position on the handle. But this will work for other swords. Thank you for doing that.

Assassins will wear their blades in this way so that they can draw their sword faster than a Samurai. The Samuari would wear the curve of the blade in the other direction. This way said that you came in peace. The direction of the curve of your blade in the picture above says you are an assassin who does not come in peace.
