Three things really.. I wanted to shoot something for Halloween (I normally miss seasonal updates/themes BADLY), and I had most of this stuff to hand.

And the "Possessed Patient" stock which is the same outfit shot some 4+ years ago was done with shit lighting/no backdrop etc so I felt we could do it so Sooooo much better this time..

lastly I finally had my second camera to do the dual lighting setup so it was a superb test shoot

...I think I like possessed patient better.  Null I think you're a cool guy and its really amazing that you make so much stock to share, but the whole 'scary mental patient' bit is part of why I got abused at the ER.  They jumped down my throat and called security because I had PTSD, even though the only thing I was doing was crying in a fetal position in a corner.  It was one of the worst nights of my life, and honestly I don't know if I'll ever really get over it.

I hope you can understand my discomfort with this stock project. ;;

(I'm glad you got the dual lighting set-up though.  Yay)

So did I but I couldn't use the same name again, I am in the middle of overhauling the old set, names and everything so I had to pick a new name, plus I have been using song names from Megadeth/Iron Maiden almost exclusively for the last year if you look back through my stock now it's really obvious

It is a shame you got treated the way you did, much like almost all people who suffer with mental issues at some point in their lives (my wife to be as well), but you also have made a mistake, this is not specifically "Scary Mental Patient" but is a continuation of the possession series, hence the eyes, he (I) am meant to be otherworldly/supernaturally controlled and otherwise not entirely human , I had this same discussion with someone else who could not grasp it and eventually turned to calling me human trash in a journal

Regardless I can sympathise with anyone who has to deal with hospitals (coming from someone who spent years of their early life in one).

And the dual setup was fun, I even have a new camera stand for the second one to yet improve on those images for the next shoot

Heh well I live a bit under a rock in terms of pop culture, so I would have never guessed at the theme names.  But now I know!

I am HUGELY relieved to hear that the intended outcome here is scary possessed person.  Thank you for taking the time to explain instead of jumping down my throat.  (Sorry to hear about the human trash person... why are people so unreasonable online??)  I don't know if you have the time/funds/expertise for this but it'd be cool to do a series where your possessed character 'transforms' to have more external fiendish looks.  (Like prosthetic horns and make-up tricks.)  But I have no idea how hard that would be. ;; 

Thanks for the sympathies and you have my sympathies for your experiences as well as your wife.  I'm getting much better, and I hope that you two are in a good place in terms of health now too.

Sweet.  I'm no photographer but I've started making resin jewelry/art projects and my in-laws gifted me my first real lighting set-up.  So I can understand being excited for near gear. ^_^
