i'm quite happy how this turned out. it's been a while since i could say that i liked something i was doing, apart from the fact that this isn't really a productive phase i'm going through. but anyway
here's a little info about the painting..the guy on the left side of the painting is prisoner number 12, staying in room 12. mr prisoner is longing to get out of room number 12, and the prison too. he dreams and longs to be out, and dreams and dreams.

the prison idea wasn't really there until the painting was nearly done, but i remembered of a petition my friend was passing around. it was regarding prisons and i thought why not include something related to the subject. and it fit well
