I was rereading this thing.
And dammit.
Keisa. Your babies are fucking adorable. I want one.

Also, I guess another question. When was the last time Keisa mated with anyone? (Human or otherwise)

Keisa: Damn right they're adorable. They're also mine, so you ain't getting any.

And, um... in terms of finding-a-mate-and-settling-down, the last time was maybe 300-400 years ago, with a human. If you meant just the act though, not too long ago. Less than 5 years?

Net's expression in the one about dusting is gorgeous. It seems to fill me with a strange sense of dread. Like she'd break in the night and clean all the things.
Very pretty favorite form Keisa!

CLEAN ALL THE THINGSSS.
And Keisa thinks so too haha. Partly why that form's her favourite. Aaand now the gendered pronouns of the English language are making it really difficult to talk about Keisa

Love that meme.
I have had many a discussion with various friends about the difficulty in the gender pronouns. Cause 'It' just doesn't cut it. It's a tricky thing but not words seem to have come up that are generally accepted. I have at least one friend who doesn't identify by gender and others who are post or pre-op and it all becomes quite tricky.

Yeah. I've come across some terms like 'hir' or 'xer' to replace 'his/her' (for example), but I'm not sure how accepted they are so I've been hesitant about using them. So yes, it is rather tricky. /sighs The neutral pronoun in Chinese and Japanese - among other languages - is so much easier orz

Our language must adapt and evolve. It'll get there, people of neutral gender are becoming more and more common and accepted.

Wait...sorry for the question on a questionnaire >.> but um...she can talk to food and drink? Don't they...you know dislike being consumed? Wouldn't it be horrible to have to eat something that was telling you not to eat it?

number11train In reply to Deceptive-Toe-Walker [2012-01-06 10:05:49 +0000 UTC]

Hahaha food and drink also have voices, yup! Generally objects have some pride in their role though, so most of the time they don't mind being consumed. If they did tell Net not to eat them, she probably wouldn't, yeah. :'D
