Description
This is probably one of my personal favourites. THis was shot during first snowfall of 2005/06 winter. I think I almost killed my camera as it was pretty much covered in water. This is in Halifax, Canada.Related content

the lighting caught my eye, but my favorite part is the "ghosts" i noticed after i clicked on it.

A beautiful shot.
I somewhat wish the people were not caught in motion, for
me it takes my eye away from the scenery....but it still works
for me.
Crisp, clear...BrrrRRR

Thanks for kind words. The idea of the picture wasn't to show just the scenery, but also the mood of the day.

This is absolutely lovely!! I really like how the image is so still on one side, but full of movement on the other.

Great photograph.
It immediately reminded me of a picture taken by someone else in Halifax, probably around the same time: Walnut and Watt

This shot reminds me of when i was living downtown beside public gardens, and it snowed like that, with snow sitting on top of the branches...it was really awsome.

I don't know if I missed this or what, but I love it! I don't know how else I wouldn't have faved or commented.
It's so calm and beautiful. How I always picture the perfect winter night (b&w darkness, if that made sense).

This is exquisite. I love the lighting, the fact that it's black & white, and the branches that are silhouetted in light and in darkness. Such contrast!--- but it's gentle contrast. The perspective is great, and those ghosty looking people are intriguing.
Fabulous.
