Hello everybody!
I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Easter ^^
I feel as if I hardly post anything to DA anymore or there's not enough time for me to focus on my own artwork. Life's pressures have picked up again and are getting the better of me
But with Easter come and gone I hope no one made the same mistake as poor old Aki here and made promises he couldn't keep... Luckily the punishment didn't fit the crime haha
For this piece, I decided to try an experimental painting style with all these beautiful pastels
Thank you so much for your support and I hope for another wonderful year with everyone

Very calming to look at, colors matter so much when it comes to the feeling and atmosphere of the picture. Pastel colors for a dreamy artwork like this one
is certainly the best choice. Details like the stars in the background and their calm expressions contribute to this once more. Something else I really like is
your shading and the way you're drawing clothes as well as the ribbon. Experiment successful I'd say!

This is pretty cute. The poses and facial expressions show it quite well. Form-wise, the ribbons wrap around him and fall on the box and ground quite nicely. The pastel-like color scheme works great. Same thing can be said for the shading, especially that of the ribbon and outfits.

I'm all the way around than you. I don't like male characters. That's why I don't draw them. This one image would boost more people's interest if it was two females.
