Ohh i really like this one , very artistic patchwork! But this dry plant , that fits so perfect with the rust is posed, no?
Also love the two black stripes on both sides of the pic!

"Less is more" you hear design people claim all over the world.. and I like the close up crop in this and the bright colors

Lovely

(Had it been crisp sharp it would have been awesome )

ahhhh, m'dear, crispness from my digital camera may very well be a thing from the past; six months after i was given the cam, it had a close encounter with a tile floor. it was sent in for repairs, but i don't think it has ever been the same.

thank you for your kind words

The colours, details, and textures here are beautiful - great work, especially with the poignant words to match.

thanks for the kind words, Phil...i may have overdone it somewhat with the saturation & hue, but i DID want them to jump out

and the words....well, the words are just falling out lately...sometimes i write them, i know EXACTLY what i want to say, and how i want to say it...then i look at them on the screen, and they seem foreign, abstract, completely alien to me, and the meaning seems as convoluted and random as a pile of Scrabble tiles.

i must be losing it.

Thanks for the Peter....yes, this one IS younger than you

I'm going to try to do more recent work in the future....but i seem to find something old I want to submit much more often....grrrr

living in the past is what i've been accused of....rightly so, I suppose.
