well..its not a pattern overlay actually. its what i did using specific tools and filters and such. the texture was only for the background.

She looks either Undead or like she is burning or she is melting. The face expression is really interesting because she doesn't look like she is in pain, which contradicts what you would think she would be feeling like. Her hands look like they are binded on the wall. Very cool.
