I think its great. Nice shot.
I love the rope. Not only for the composition, but beacause its a tied up land locked boat, which adds an element of time to the picture as well. Its not just nice to look at, but it creates an opportunity for questions.

I agree with dendorrity... remove the rope it's guiding the "look" outside the photo... but a greet composition, it's dificult to make a good photo with a central element!

Fanastic image. I dont thnk the rope detracts gives you a line of focus which draws your eyes down into the boat and then on towards that amazing sky.
