Mad Hatter and his sewing monster.Mad Hatter from my dream is very awesome, cool and creepy. I saw him awesome than this, but this is all I can draw.
Hatter half body is old brass gears, some of his gear legs can float in the air around him, that mean his body can stay still in the air. When he walk, his gears will move like old train wheels.
I saw the sewing monster far away from the tea party.
I can't paint the old brass gears, I have to find some photo of old brass gears from google, and paint from its.

think about your character all day and then go to sleep, You have to use alarm clock, get up before that, and go to sleep again. It's very helpful.

The sewing theme of this picture reminds me of the Other Mother from Coraline. Even the mechanical portions of it are fitting. I dunno, I just really enjoyed the correlations between Tim Burton movies. Also, your color selection really defines the mood of the picture; you can tell that the character is meant to be dark, ominous, and possibly evil. Very interesting piece.
