Description
Back in the days, Kiku tried to take over China, Korea and the whole of Asia. The Asian siblings have all been assaulted by Japan. Himaruya didn't portray this in detail, of course, since these are pretty ugly histories. During those times, Japan was best known for their shrewdness and brutality.The three years under Japan's control was apparently the worst years Hong Kong has ever had. Needless to say, Korea was not quite pleased with any advance on Kiku's part.
On the second historical occasion when Kiku waged war against Yao, Yao was so weak that he had to sign a pact with Ivan in an effort to push Kiku's advances back.
And Ivan got to cop a feel. 8D And gained control of some of Yao's territory.

日本帝國 - (Great) Empire of Japan
蘇聯共和國 - Soviet Russia
朝鮮 - Korea's traditional name, but nowdays refers to North Korea.
中國, 香港, 台灣 - China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, as always.

I love the added Chinese! It's the language I could read~ or at least most of it. The art is great as always! It was terrible though, Japan's control over Hong Kong I mean. They were brutal and merciless, perhaps not as much as it was in WW2 was still...

Such an ugly history Japan has, along with Korea, China and the surrounding nations. I'd love to see Vietnam in here too, but I don't exactly know when she comes into all this. I have to admit, I'm the worst when it comes to history...

Are you talking about the Sino-Japanese Wars? -Blinks- Yeah, reading or watching any of the stuff related to it is depressing D: For some reason my mom keeps on watching movies about it, even though she says, "Yeah, it really hurts me D:"
What's this...it's brilliant, it reminds me of a Chinese drama's cover, something. So much drama and action, and the emotion just -billowing- out at you...and those struggles and those unwillingly caught in it...God, Yong Soo looks fierce, and Yao and Ivan...and Hong Kong, oh God, Hong Kong D: And Taiwan...just sort of...caught there...considering the positions during those times...
