yeah...fay and i participated in a chinese new year contest called "lunar new year across asia"
the year of the rat approaches tomorrow februrary 7, 2008 so we are posting this to celebrate
it was fun doing it [even though we finished in around 2-3 days]
well this is fay's interp of chinese new year:
old inkling of rat because it is the year of the rat
all the food on the table is part of a traditional new year leaning more on the vietnamiese side
you know the red, the outfits, the watermelon seeds, the fish and "chicken," etc
