Just using Open Canvas for the first time. Although I really dislike the lack of shading in this, I now see why people are able to color so much better than I could in Photoshop. There are better, easier programs out there.Edit - Looking at it again, I like it better now. Nice and simple. I really like OC. I'm pretty sure I'm going to purchase it now. XD

some pictures don't need to be complex to look good, some of the best picture can have simple colour and still look really good

Oh that's why I love it EXACTLY. I am a happy cat. My goodness, I love the program. XD Now I realise, I don't suck at inking if I've got OC. YAY!!
...Inking was my biggest issue before. I'm pretty proud of my sketches most of the time, but I ruin things when I try to ink them. @_@

Nah, I know the site. I have 1.1 and had 3.something but now that I'm used to 1.1 I kinda like the layer system. I know it's changed by 3 and I'm afraid to try 4+ or anything...

Can't beat the classic ratite. I only recently found out it was originally pink in the japanese FF2. What would we do without wiki?

There are other programs that are probably better, too, like Photoshop Elements and Painter Essentials -- and I know those can be installed on MACs!
