I sort of owe [but not really "owe"] a picture of Cloud x Aeris to my friend Sana. At some point, after months of me agonizing over it, she revealed that she wouldn't mind if they were animals. So...to prove that I'm still working this whole thing out, I'm posting this.In the end, I want them to be human. It's a goal I've set myself. BUT this scene popped into my head and had to be done with canine stand-ins [humans don't lick one another for comfort. ...usually].
Whether or not I can/will successfully repeat this [with humans] remains to be seen...

XD Hah, you know what? You're right! I wasn't thinking, I wanted to give "Aeris" wolf a pink bandana so she would have her trademark bow somewhere, but I forgot about the girl dog from Balto! I don't remember her name, but darned if it doesn't look like her! Good eye. XD

By the way, I suppose it might be in my favor to say that I do do these at work, and so I try to keep it simple, because people can see over my shoulder. ;_;

You don't have to keep making so many excuses, especially to someone who likes it. I see more in one of your sketches than I do in many finished works. I had already guessed that you did most of these at work, mainly due to the upload times.
