I sort of owe [but not really "owe"] a picture of Cloud x Aeris to my friend Sana. At some point, after months of me agonizing over it, she revealed that she wouldn't mind if they were animals. So...to prove that I'm still working this whole thing out, I'm posting this.In the end, I want them to be human. It's a goal I've set myself. BUT this scene popped into my head and had to be done with canine stand-ins [humans don't lick one another for comfort. ...usually].
Whether or not I can/will successfully repeat this [with humans] remains to be seen...

Wait, wha? I'm notoriously bad at remembering game events, but I thought that when the party visits Gongaga, she hears his parents say they haven't heard from him, and then she runs out and goes and sits somewhere and cries, and then you have to go find her...? @_@ Boy do I feel dumb if that didn't happen. I wonder sometimes what I'm doing when I'm supposed to be paying attention to a game. I think I might start thinking about cookies or something.

Did you beat DoC? Because let's put it this way. Like, last week, I read the character profiles in the official strategy guide for the game, and I looked at Shelke's and was like, "WHAT?! When the crap did they mention THAT?!" and then (lol) Lucrecia's, and went, "WHAT?! LUCRECIA DID WHAT TO VINCENT'S FATHER?!" And honest to god, I still only know these two things-that-I-won't-specify-for-spoiler-reasons BECAUSE OF THE PLAYER'S GUIDE. I think when I was playing the game, I was too excited about the prospect of shooting barrels and making them go boom to pay attention to the story. XD GOOD JOB ME!
Whaaaau though, kinda makes me wonder just how much Zack meant to her, then. @_@ Aerith is a wierd character -- just when I think I have her figured out, she always says or does something wierd. Because this game is so confusing to me, though, and I'm thinking it might be because of a wonky English translation, I bought the game in Japanese to try to see if there were mistakes or something. Of course, I haven't gotten to it yet. And probably never will. But at least it's there. XD Waiting for that "rainy day" that never freaking comes. @_@

I think she did think she was in love with Zack in Crisis Core, i mean, if you look at the, so cute! Its like teenagers first love <3 but then the creators had to spoil it and say its not really love cause they are too young and its more like a sudden crush ( how he fell in the roof hehe ) But then its called FIRST love for a reason, meaning its not the last. And then came Cloud, whom even after her death, she still loves <333

I haven't read it! But two Saturdays ago, I was in NY, and I checked a Japanese bookstore there for the VII Ultimania 'cause I want to read it. I hear from a friend that if I read it I will hate Tifa (?), and while I don't want to hate Tifa, I do want to know why that is. XD
Cloud's appearance is SUPER brief, it was dissapointing. ><
And YES Lucrecia looks A LOT like Aerith. Like if I didn't know better, I'd be like, "Dude they froze Aerith? HOW DO I MISS THESE THINGS?!" XD
Hrrrmmm...It is a lot like puppy love, Crisis Core, I mean. Maybe that's what bugged me so much about it. See, I love Zack x Aerith, and something about CC didn't sit right with me -- and I think that's just it! It wasn't as...deep? a relationship as I was hoping it'd be (that and the fact that Aerith was a little annoying). Then again, it did make me realise that, oh duh, she's like 14, what the heck does she know about love? XD Then again, I still haven't played that game to death yet (or tried the English version), so maybe what doesn't sit right with me is just that I don't know enough. X3
Boy, at least VII shows that love ain't always black and white, princess and hero, right? XD Kinda confusing, but interesting to talk about. I get a new perspective on the game like, every week. X3

Ah well, that depends which part of the Ultimania you read. I actually like tifa, but because i dont believe Cloud has romantic feelings for her because he loves Aerith and Vice versa, i kinda felt bad for her, but also kinda smug xD

Yes yes, puppy love, a cute one n.n And no, it wasn't that deep due to the fact Zack was always away, even though some say they have been together for a long time, I say to them, if that is so, then why is aerith's ultimate wish saying she wants to have more time with Zack? Aerith is MORE fun and outgoing in CC and she is so out of character lol, some think that maiden ( the novella ) isn't canon because Aerith doesnt act herself, hello, a whole game that shows she's not like the FFVII has just been released, dont talk like you know it xD
Oh hell yeah, and FFVII doesnt get the fairy tale ending cause of aerith's death. Even though the creators have canonised Cloud and Aerith always being together ( cause Cloud can see, hear, and talk to Aerith and she lives in his heart ) its not the same as being physically together no?

lol @ "kinda smug". XD Poor Tifa. I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about that particular love triangle of doom, but I think that if game events had gone differently, yeah, Tifa might have ended up needing a new boyfriend, if only because Aerith speaks her mind where Tifa won't. X3 And trust me, all through disc 1, I chased Tifa away when I could in favor of Aerith -- she was just so cute, and Tifa...well...she was sweet and all, but because of her outfit I saw her as a tramp. >< And Tifa always seemed to just sit in a corner and paw at the dirt while Aerith was straight-forward and always dragged Cloud out of his emo shell. XD But then around the end of disc 2, I started to feel badly for Tifa, especially seeing how loyal she was, and upset, when Cloud had Mako poisoning. D: So then I felt bad for mistreating her on disc 1, but not TOO too bad, because after all, that allowed for Aerith to have some fun with Cloud, especially at the Gold Saucer (glee!), before she uh...left our party. Anyway, so at some point, I thought, "well, everything worked out then -- Aerith is with Zack, and Cloud is with Tifa. It ain't perfect, but such is life". And then I read that novella (?) that came with my super-omg-edition of Advent Children (which I bought of course for Last Order! XD ), and (have you read it? I won't spoil anything in case you haven't) it made me think Cloud and Tifa were cute together (if a little shaky), and I fell in love with their bootleg "family". XD So as is quite obvious, I'm torn, especially since it's very obvious that Cloud's not...entirely alright with his...well...his entire life, really, but you know what I mean. XD Tifa's obviously not enough to keep his thoughts from wandering, but is it guilt, or never-to-be-requitted longing? Both? 60% of one? 40% of the other? I don't know!! XD Cloud's brain is a minefield. @_@
Also lol @ "Kadaj not stepping on her". I have a related question. Even in the game, Cloud was standing up in the water. So obviously, the water was not all that deep. So...what the heck, is there like one deep spot? And if so, why didn't any of the kids fall into it? It'd be funny as hell. XD Well, wherever this deep spot may be, Cloud's luck just sucks -- his cell phone managed to find it.
And I have a problem with spirit Aerith. I thought things and people are supposed to return to the Lifestream and get reincarnated. And while I vaguely remember someone saying a spirit can hang out for a while (and I think Aerith told Elmyra that her husband's spirit did? But she might have meant that he was trying to get to her while he was alive?), but Aerith and Zack have been chilling in Cloud's shadow for a preeeetty long time. What gives? One of the VII developer dudes (lol I'm so informed) said that whether or not Cloud actually sees Aerith is up to us individually (unless I understood him wrong?), but I hate it when they leave it to me, I get so many headaches. @_@ But Cloud's face at the end of Advent Children (which makes me laugh and feel sad at the same time -- he looks so cute and stupid XD ) kinda makes me feel like she was really there, and he didn't expect it (plus, wasn't she talking to some kids?). And then he smiled, and for some reason seeing a smile on Cloud's face (or reading about it in a novel) breaks my heart. In a good way.

Frankly, i think the Cloud, Aerith, and Zack love triangle is more interesting lol If Aerith hadn't died, Tifa indeed would need to find someone else to love, not a new boyfriend xD Cloud and Tifa were never together, Cloud should have been more concerned when he saw Tifa in Seventh Heaven though, because the last time he saw her, she was dead lol, there was no "OMG are you okay?" It was just "Give me my money, i dont care bout you or the planet" lol
AHAHA! i saw tifa as a tramp cause of her outfit too! lol and Aerith's attitude was just so funny! xD I think after Aerith died, Cloud tried desperately to claw his way back to that shell Aerith opened for him, too bad the shell is gone and he has to face it D;
I felt bad for tifa too! D; but then i found out in the lifestream scene that she ignored Cloud throughout their childhood, and spoke to him ONCE! ONCE!! D; she seemed more interested in Cloud after he wanted to join SOLDIER though, which i thought was kinda selfish, it kinda struck out to me as she just wants a famous boyfriend, since she made him promise that when he becames FAMOUS he will come rescue her lol I also found it mean that she didnt own up to the fact Cloud didnt push her off the bridge like everyone thought he did =/
Last order? i've seen it, the creators said in at least 4 Ultimania's its not official though. Cloud and Tifa would look cute, then again, i think that Cloud and Aerith would look cute if they actually met earlier. Did you know Tifa wasn't suppose to be in the game? Aerith was suppose to be Cloud's ONLY love interest and his childhood friend, but then they thought Aerith had too many parts and brought in Tifa xD
Im not sure it is guilt, cause after his guilt is taken at the end of Advent Children, Cloud still goes to the flowerfield to meet aerith in credits, takes a bunch of pictures of flowers in the field which to be frank, i think are pictures of aerith, because Cloud is the only person who can see Aerith, so i think these pictures of flowers, actually have Aerith in them but we cant see her cause he's the only one who can. Make sense?

Im not sure about all the information, but it was said that because Aerith is an Ancient, she can choose whether she wants to be turned back, but because she wants to help while she's in the lifestream, she stays, or something like that. Zack cant stay in the lifestream cause he's human lol
And about the whole Cloud can see Aerith, no. I actually have the interview for this, they say that Cloud does not see Aerith because of his guilt towards her death, but because she lives on inside his heart. Thats why he can see her <33 sweet no?
Cloud has never smiled before, its so awesome to see him smile at aerith! Then again, did you notice that in the ENTIRE game, Cloud laughed only once, when he and aerith were roof jumping and Aerith made a joke? xD I didnt notice it until i read it in the Ultimania, and they point out that even though jenova can control Cloud, he is still able to make his own will and laugh with aerith <3
And hell yeah! Make it longer whoo! haha! Maybe we should discuss this through notes? So long xD

Aha, I should watch what I say. >< I didn't mean that Tifa and Cloud were going out, I just happen to be very loose with the term "boyfriend". XD Although the English version is funny, when Aerith says, "Is Tifa a girl...? A girl...friend?" and Cloud says "Yeah, girlfriend", even though I don't think they meant it that way. XD (lol and then Aerith was like, "Oh. That's nice." XD She's so funny.) That's another part I where need to check the Japanese version. And wait, when you talk to Tifa at the Seventh Heaven for the first time, that's the first time they met again? It sounded a little like they'd been reunited before...wait, yeah, didn't Tifa have a flashback of finding Cloud at the train station (or am I making up events again? I think there was a dog there)? But come to think of it, yeah, the last time he saw her, she was "dead". XD
About Cloud's destroyed shell, I felt the same way! It was like, his shell was JUST starting to open because of Aerith's persistance -- I think he really was intrigued by how she just blurted out how she felt, when she was sad, when she was happy, when she was furious (like at Yuffie, lol), and I think that he was just captivated by that! Also, he doesn't seem the type to "make moves", so Aerith did that for him. XD But then -- WHAM! Gone. Just when he was starting to...well, not heal, really, but starting to uncurl from his little emo ball. I think that's one of the reasons that particular wound just won't heal. No matter what Tifa does or says, she just isn't the same. I think Aerith had the power to make Cloud feel better -- Tifa, unless she can learn to do otherwise (and I have faith that she might be able to!), can only stand by and commiserate, and I don't think that's what Cloud needs. I'm trying to find a way to say it - Aerith was like something warm and bright, and Cloud needed that to keep him from being so cold, but Tifa is just as miserable as Cloud is, and while it's nice for Cloud to know that she is there for him, she isn't able to do anything more for him than that, so they both just kinda sit there.
That Lifestream strain of events was confusing as hell. Said a friend, "I stopped trying to follow the plot line when there were like 3 Clouds". XD I couldn't figure out what was trying to be shown through the whole "Tifa and Cloud were neighbors in Nibelhiem" chain of memories (lol). Sometimes I thought Cloud was being a brat, and sometimes I thought Tifa was being a snob, but again, I wasn't sure if it was because I wasn't following correctly or because I swear they hired the translators for that game off the street. XD Did they think Cloud pushed Tifa off the bridge...? I thought they were mad at him for leading her up the mountain at all (which I don't think he did, didn't she run ahead?). I do remember Cloud saying that he wanted attention from the other kids (especially Tifa) and to fit in, but also that he thought she and her friends were stupid and that he wanted nothing to do with them. What? Cloud, thinking two opposite things at once? Even as a child, his mind had no mercy on him! There it began, I suppose, now that I put it into text -- his desire for companionship, and the wall that he hides behind to avoid it. The poor, poor thing! I never considered that before! He'd needed help LONG before he joined SOLDIER!
Not official? XD That's kind of how I've always viewed it, since I don't see any point to it, really, except, "hey look, we made an FFVII anime!", and that, unless I'm wrong about it, some events didn't line up all that well with the games. -_- It always felt to me like an animated doujin. XD The style is very doujin to me, I'm not sure why.
I did know Tifa wasn't in the original plans for the game, but I didn't know exactly why they added her (so I guessed it was 'cause they wanted a back-up lady for Cloud.) XD
He took pictures of the flowers? I knew he went there in the credits, but I never really thought there was a meaning to it, I thought it was just to get people to keep watching the staff roll.
I have not heard jokes about Aerith calling Cloud on his phone, but I've made a few! X3 What are they?
So Zack's left the Lifestream for sure, then? The thing Cloud saw in the end was all in his head? Maybe Zack can come back as a doggie, and make it easier for me to draw him. :3
Yeah, I remember them talking about how when someone you love dies (in real life), they stay with you because their conciousness lives on in your memory, and I think they mentioned that sometimes, things happen that are coincidence, but we say, "That was ____! They are watching over me!" and it doesn't necessarily mean that they trully ARE, but it's just as good, because it is a comfort to us. I like how the staff of Final Fantasy get so psychological, it really intrigues me! That's why I've fallen so in love with the series. :3 (especially IX!!! 
I did notice that he laughed there, and when I first played that part, it struck me as odd for Cloud to laugh! XD The only other times I have heard of him laughing were in the novel that came with my Advent Children, and one of those times, he was drunk. XD XD XD This novel is I think better known as "On the way to a smile", I'll call it that instead of "the novel that came with my Advent Children". XD Another thing I noticed was that if you talk to Yuffie directly after Cloud confesses...what he confesses at the conference table on the Highwind, he talks to Yuffie with (as I imagined it) such a light heart! About motion sickness, and how to cure/avoid it? He is so peppy and silly, then! Another non-Cloud moment was when Tifa asks if you slept well, I think the night before you go to blow up one of the reactors, and one of your reply options is, "Next to you, who wouldn't?" XD So very not Cloud.

Of course, I have my bias...I played "Portable" more because Zidane's in it... Tee hee.
Oh yeah and for the record, when I first watched the intro for "Special", I still melted and "awww'd" that it was Cloud and Aerith, even though I felt bad for Awwww'ing. XD XD XD I can't decide if or not I like the pairing, but at the time I REALLY didn't. I'm sincerely warming to it now, though. As of like, 2 months ago maybe, when my boyfriend (yes, the SquareEnix hater!) said something that made Cloud x Aerith a cute thing. So now, I'm straight-up torn.

Actually, You can choose to have Cloud say no she's not my gf haha! its an optional scene lol About the seventh heaven thing, it is the first time they've meet since Cloud went off to midgar after Zack died. So basically, Cloud really couldn't care less if Tifa was dead and wanted money xD lol
Yes, Cloud seems to open up more when Aerith is around, which is so awesome! :3 Like that time in cosmo canyon, so close in confessing! damnit!! do you remember that scene? Tifa cant heal the wounds left in his heart, because she doesnt know how. The creators said in an interview somewhere, that only aerith, just her, can give him forgiveness. Tifa kinda supports Cloud, in a nagging mother way, you know? Like in AC where she just scoolded him haha!
And you are completely right, Cloud and Tifa are too much the same in the sense they both need reassurance, two weak people can't support each other, i believe Tifa sticks by Cloud as he is the only connection she has back to her town.

Yup, she's not meant to be in the game, the main characters to begin with were Cloud, Aerith, and Barrett. No others. But then they expanded it and wanted someone to die, if they killed Cloud, they would kill their fans, if they killed Barrett, that would be too obvious, and so they decided Aerith ( damn them!!! ) I wouldn't say back up lady, more like someone needs to be there so they can solve the puzzle of his life, which btw, Tifa lied to cloud about D;
Yeah, in the end of AC, you see Cloud's desk with a new picture of his friends and a sunflower ( he picked a sunflower!!! ) and then in the background of his desk are a bunch of pictures of flowers ( unless Cloud has an obsession with flowers, i think its safe to say aerith is suppose to be there ) Its said in an interview that the credits were meant to mean something, the song lyrics are suppose to be powerful, and if you read what the lyrics say, it has something to do with Cloud and Aerith <33 Besides, if Aerith was meant to be out of the picture after AC, like most people who hate her say, then why is she showing in the credits? Couldn't they have just left her out and just had Cloud? Sure they could, but they didnt lol
Because Cloud's phone was dropped in the lake where Aerith is, she could pick up that phone and ring him back right? lol
And yes, he's left it, not sure if for good cause he asks Aerith when she gets lonely, she should call him, then she says if only she gets VERY lonely lol OUCH! Zack should totally come back as a dog! a dog that Cloud finds!!!

Cloud and Aerith in Itadaki Special are so cute, it looks like they are having a conversation, then Aerith stops talking and looks up, Cloud looks at her and then looks at what she's looking at. Somewhere in the intro, Cloud is chasing Aerith and then gets stopped by some dude lol adorable! :3

There is a doujinshi I've seen around on like, eBay and such where Zack is a kitty thing, it's called "Catnip", I think. So it'd be like that only with a doggy! I think Cloud is a kitty too, in Catnip, I'm not sure, I haven't actually read it. ;_;

Same thing here. I mostly do sketchy stuff, only once in a while do I decide to try to do "grand". Although your gallery has quite a few finished stuff, and out of the most recent ones I really like the style used with Musashi
