Btw. I looked it up since I'm playing as Fennekin in Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon on the 3DS.

Oh awesome! x3 I have tried the PMD games but I didn't like them much, "mystery dungeon" games in general aren't really my thing, I guess! I have tried a few others, Chocobo's Dungeon, and generic "dungeon crawlers" and haven't been a fan...but I wish I liked them more!! xD

I think the only one I've tried were RED RESCUE TEAM for the GBA. I never finished it since it didn't hold my interest.
I'm not sure why I decided to give SUPER MYSTERY DUNGEON a chance. I had looked up the reviews, which were mostly positive. Plus I saw that you can play as all 720 pokemon eventually. AND it's in 3D instead of 2D or pixels.
I'll admit, the dungeons can get frustrating at times though. Especially when it throws in Pokemon that 1-HIT KO you from any random place in the room (off-screen).
That, and the items don't behave the same as in the regular Pokemon games. (Oran Berry restores you to full health instead of just 10HP for example)
And you have to make sure to keep a stock of apples, otherwise your Pokemon becomes hungry. Once it hits 0, each step will cost you 2 HP.
I've never heard of Chocobo's Dungeon. Sounds like something out of Final Fantasy. Isn't Final Fantasy the same concept? You encounter enemies, everything is turn-based, and you can use items. PMD doesn't sound original in that regard. But the characters are cute and this game actually has an interesting story. Kinda reminds me of Kingdom Hearts too.

Chocobo's Dungeon is a side game for the Final Fantasy series, yep!
But "Mystery Dungeon" games (also known as "dungeon crawlers") are different from RPGs like Final Fantasy or the main Pokemon series! I like RPGs, but I do not like "dungeon crawlers" much. xD I have a friend who loves them to death, though!!
There are only 3 kinds of games I don't like too much, they are...team sports games (like soccer or basketball), Dungeon Crawlers, and Strategy RPGs (like Fire Emblem). xD
But I wish I liked Dungeon Crawlers more, because PMD is so cute! And Chocobo's Dungeon, too!
I think I don't like walking around and fighting on a grid, mostly. D;

Awww, haha, it cost us $5 to do that, too. And I paid it. x3 And I transferred almost all of my guys. It took quite a while, as I'm sure you can imagine. x3

Well, the system works differently now. What you're paying for is called Pokemon Bank, and it will store your Pokemon, up to 3000 of them, I think. So it's not just to transfer, but also to store them, since 718 is a lotta Pokemon to begin with, and I'm sure we all also have duplicates!
So it is worth the money, although I understand that if you only want to transfer it seems like a rip-off. D:
