Just a quick redo of: [link]Because I really think it deserves to look better, now that I have my tablet back. xD (Also it helped me to get my art groove back before I start anything serious)
This is my response to Equestria Daily using my altered artwork in a mocking manner and without permission on April Fool's Day.
Bronies who can't shut up about how much they hate older generations of My Little Pony can all go screw.
I neither love nor tolerate you.

Aparently Equestria Daily apologized for the harassment coming from the unsavory Bronies - That's good enough for me, I forgive them for using my artwork.
...although my opinion on dickish bronies with big mouths remains the same. xD. I doubt any of them would apologize for anything.

We wouldn't have G4 without the older generations. Why can't some people get that? Sure, there are some ways each generation is better/worse than the other, but they're all important!

And if you think we don't have our valid reasons for finding FiM less girly and to have better characters and plots, then congratulations, you're no better than the rabid bronies! Just because we prefer this gen doesn't mean we all have no respect for older gens. But no, stick to your assumptions.

EQD used my artwork without permission (thinking it was official art) to MOCK the original generation of ponies on April Fool's day. This was my response to that and has nothing to do with how you feel about the show. xD xD xD It's all about them using my art in mockeryΒ without my permission.

I know that this picture was uploaded quite a while ago, but it looks so cute! 
I feel that the G1 show was made in a time where it was considered cool to reject and ridicule anything feminine, and people have carried that attitude with them to this day, even if they're not aware of it. I've heard people say that the old show didn't have any conflict and that the characters all had the same personality, wich so isn't true!Β
I like FiM, but I miss the character design and adventure element of the first show.

Aww! Yeah I have bought some G1s at conventions, too, and they can be expensive if you get the more rare ones! I am looking for Munchie, myself, and she's usually around $60. x3
Yeah, I think the show had conflict, and different personalities for the ponies! And I also liked the style the characters are drawn in and (sometimes) the quality of the animation (sometimes it is better than other times) xD
I grew up in the 80's-early 90's, so I knew those ponies long before I knew the new ones! x3

Yeah, G1 had some really threatening villians (including an evil centaur that wanted make the night eternal and threatened to decapitate a baby dragon, a crazy drug addict that abused her boyfriend and wanted to make the ponies her slaves, and a gigantic rock dog that could turn everything and everyone he touched into stone!), and while G4 has fewer main characters and more time to develop their personalities, G1 definitely had characters with different and likable personalities. And it annoys me to no end when people watch episodes from the old show and basically groan and complain throughout them because it's different from FiM!

Exactly! You can like one franchise more than another, but others can have a different opinion. There are actually some franchises that I flat out hate, but I know that a lot of others love them, so I mostly try to just not say anything about them because it's just unnecessary to ruin anyone's enjoyment of them.

Personally I am so sick of the G4's now because of the sucky dolls! I sooo regret buying several of them... No, now it is only G1's and G3's for me!

Grew up with G1 and I have arguments to say why it's the best gen, something bronies don't have.

Yeah, I feel your pain. That's part of the reason why I would never consider myself a "brony". 0_o I was hated on at several occasions because I was automatically categorized as a "brony" just because I liked Friendship is Magic. And then said "bronies" would in turn ridicule me for liking all the older generations of My Little Pony. You can't please anybody, I guess. (~_~

From what I've seen much of the inter-fan hate died down over the S2-S3 hiatus, probably because a lot of Bronies like me went to watch the old cartoons for our pony fix. Also that over time more Bronies have given in to buying dolls, and classic MLP fans know masses about toy care and styling. 
Though the Brony documentary had a quick jab at the old gens, which seemed entirely uncalled for, but then it kind of flopped anyway... Oh well.
Haters gonna hate (on both sides), but it's all about the pony.
