After taking a moment to think about it, I mostly agree. I had a soft spot for Lion King 2 as a kid (for some weird reason), but from a critical standpoint, it wouldn't call it an improvement of the first Lion King. However, I think I've seen the original Rescuers once or twice, and I remember it being lackluster compared to Down Under. The 70s-80s was a weird time for Disney.
